NC Trout Fishing
Stone Mountain State Park is a great destination for NC trout fishing. With more than 17 miles of trout streams, Stone Mountain offers angling opportunities almost year round. With great road access throughout the park and very clean entry trails, Stone Mountain makes an ideal destination for families. The river does receive a lot of pressure, but with hatchery supported stocking it has enough fish to sustain everyone. If possible visit during the week to avoid the weekend crowd.
