AUSTRALIAN FISH AND SEAFOOD RECIPES, AND MORE

Hello, and welcome.Thank you for visiting Fishing For A Recipe. My name is Hugh and I have fished most of my life, first as a young child in Scotland, with a small net and catching tadpoles and Sticklebacks, taking them home in Jam Jars and so on.When I came to Australia,I started fishing the beaches, then got a boat, then another one. All my life I have fished from the beaches,or boats,or off the rocks.Western Australia has some of the best fishing in the world. It has miles of deserted beaches that rarely see anyone using them, and the fishing is good.

Naturally to visit these places, which are normally many miles distant, you need to take the time to plan a trip and go for a few days with a few mates, and have a decent camp. Now for what ever reason I mostly ended up with the job of cooking, and what better to do than to cook your fish straight from the ocean? At any rate you can read more about me on the about page, but this is how the ebook Fishing For A Recipe has come to be written.Once again I welcome you here. Please enjoy the site and have a look around and visit often!

So, why is this recipe book different? Well, for a start all of the dishes in it can be prepared outdoors. All are fairly quick and easy to do, and you don't need to be a cordon bleu Chef to work out what to do ! Very much a "blokes cook book" it is. We do things a bit differently in Australia too, so the unique flavour of Australian cuisine can be found in your own campsite or backyard. Pretty neat hey?

ALSO, ON THE GIVE AND TAKE PAGE THERE IS A GUEST MAP. PLEASE BE SURE TO STICK A PIN IN TO SHOW WHERE YOU ARE FROM !

Be sure to visit the articles page to read newly added fishing articles and visit my memories page to read constantly changing personal fishing stories of other fishermen!
