Help Fund Hope

When you buy note cards from IFFGD, you're doing more than simply staying in touch with friends and family members. The majority of the proceeds - two-thirds - from our note card sales will go to benefit research for gastrointestinal disorders.

Since IFFGD's founding in 1991, we have remained committed to the pursuit of improved care for people with functional gastrointestinal disorders. But while support for research has increased over the years, it is still far from adequate given the numbers of people with GI disorders and the toll of human suffering.

In response, IFFGD began funding our own research awards in 2003. Our goals are to continue making $7,500 research awards to existing investigators, and to begin providing $50,000 seed grants to fund new investigations or novel research. With your help, we can continue to support the search for more effective treatments, and hopefully cures for people with functional GI disorders.
