Hotel Eiger is a first class hotel which offers a charming ambience. The cozy hotel was built in 1886. Today the third and fourth generation of family Stähli-von Allmen are taking a personal interest in the comfort of the guests. The rooms, suites and apartment-suites offer unforgettable views over Eiger, Moench and Jungfrau. A delicious champagne buffet breakfast is provided each morning in the Hotel Eiger's dining room, and a 5-course evening menu is served there to half-board guests in the evening. Muerren (1650 m) - a marvellous mountain village, public car free, rich in tradition and originally the home of settlers from the Loetschen Valley in the Valais. Perched on a high, sunny terrace facing the famous Eiger, Moench and Jungfrau, the village is the highest ski resort in the Bernese Oberland. It nestles at the foot of the Schilthorn with its revolving Piz Gloria Restaurant, made world-famous by a James Bond movie.
