Tux is located in an idyllic high-lying valley, between 1’300 and 3’250 metres above sea level, at the end of the Ziller Valley. Tux isn’t just one village, but a community extending over 8 km, made up of the villages of Tux-Vorderlanersbach, Tux-Lanersbach, Juns, Madseit and Hintertux. The Tux villages are small and characteristically Tyrolean, and together with the Hintertux Glacier at the head of the valley, form a nature and sports paradise for the whole family - 365 days a year!
Because of its healthy altitude, you are assured guaranteed snow here and landscapes as white as nature intended. Tux offers an unlimited adventure for the whole family also beside the slopes: Trapper- or Skitours, tobogganing, cross-country skiing, winter hiking, skating, curling, tennis…
