Getting Started with ClickTracks and Miva Merchant
When using ClickTracks to track activity and purchases on web sites using Miva Merchant, it is necessary to install an additional Miva Module.
Download this zip file: (ct-miva-0.94.zip). Once you unzip it, there will be two files. The .mv one is for uncompiled stores (v4.13 or less), and the .mvc is for compiled stores (4.14+).
The log filename is of the format ct_yyyymm.log, and they are placed inside the data directory under Merchant2/0000000x/ClickTracks. ***A quick bit of background on the way Miva works; there are two sets of directories...one referred to as DATA which stores log files, databases, etc., and one referred to as SCRIPTS which stores the .mv or .mvc files, graphics, etc. The DATA directory is often called htsdata, mivadata, or something of the sort, and should exist outside of the public html folder structure (although a few hosts are notorious for putting it inside the web portion of the filesystem).*** Hopefully this information will help you find the place the files are getting built. Most MM store owners are (or are quickly becoming) familiar with this concept.
The SCRIPTS directory is almost always the same as the home html directory...wherever index.html is stored.
The other thing to note is the 0000000x part of the directory structure; the x is replaced with the store number. When an implementation has more than one store, the first store is kept in 00000001, the second in 00000002, and so on. If someone installs the module on two stores in their domain, there will be two sets of files; one in DATA/Merchant2/00000001/ClickTracks and one in DATA/Merchant2/00000002/ClickTracks.
