During my lifetime as an artist I have been interested in glass, stained glass, hot glass and other glass artists works.   It took a while before I found lampwork glass beads however.  My journey began back in grade school.  I have been a painter, potter, quilter, spinner and weaver.  Did a bit of sculpture, dabbled in both watercolors and oils, even painted on plates (china painting).

I spent my college years training as a jeweler and worked in the field for a number of years for someone else.  But I kept coming back to glass in my spare time.  At first it was stained glass.   Then I became interested in beading.  This of course introduced me to lampwork beads made by others.  Well, it was only a matter of time before I had to try to make them myself.

I have always been fascinated with hot glass.  I remember back in school during chemistry labs being more interested in bending and blowing glass while we were setting up than the actual labs we were supposed to be doing.

But, that was just clear glass.  Now, I have many, many colors to play with.  The possibilities are endless!

I have recently been working with both soft Italian glass (melts at a relatively low temperature) and hard Borosilicate glass (melts at a much higher temperature).  Each glass has capabilities unique to itself.  I love them both and will continue to offer unique creations from both types of glass.

I hope you enjoy your visit to my website.  You can contact me at My email.  I love to do custom orders.

I am a member of the "International Society of Glass Beadmakers"

For those of you who have managed to maneuver and read your way to the end of this little story I though you might like to see my alternative life.  Away from beads I'm in love with motorcycles.  I am a member of our local Star Touring club here in Colorado and have also become the webmistress for them.  So, for those of you interested here's a link to my other site.  You might even find a couple of pictures of me scattered throughout the pages!
