Privacy, Copyright, and General Policies

IFFGD, the International Foundation for Functional Gastrointestinal Disorders, is a registered nonprofit education and research organization. Our mission is to inform, assist, and support people affected by gastrointestinal disorders.

We are a Wisconsin nonstock, nonprofit corporation, qualified under the U.S. IRS code 501(c)3.

Web Site Support
Each IFFGD web site is self supported by the foundation.

Privacy
All names and addresses of our visitors and members are kept confidential. We do not disclose individual personal information, unless required by law.

We invite you to share information with us in our guestbook or participate in our health surveys. This is at your option. Information gathered is for the purpose of helping us identify topics that are most relevant for our visitors, and to help clinicians, regulators, investigators, and manufacturers as they determine directions for research and treatment development.

All information on IFFGD web sites, unless otherwise noted, is copyrighted by the International Foundation for Functional Gastrointestinal Disorders, Inc. (IFFGD) and may not be reproduced without the express written consent of IFFGD.

Articles that appear in IFFGD publications are written by members of our Advisory Board or other professionals. Many of these are referenced or reprinted on our web sites. All articles published by IFFGD are subject to review by members of our Editorial Board.

The information on every IFFGD web site is provided for information purposes and is in no way intended to replace the knowledge or diagnosis of your doctor.
