How long until my text ads start running?
Your text ad will start running after the individual website owners approve your text ad through our system. This normally takes less than a few hours.

How do you prevent click fraud?
We think the best way to solve the growing click fraud problem is to throw out the pay-per-click model altogether. You pay a set amount regardless of the clicks. You don't have to worry about competitors and other erroneous clicks running up your bill every day.

How do I manage my ADster click bidding?
You don't! Our flat-rate, set price system eliminates click bidding. We don't think you should have to spend your day managing your click bids. Your time should be spent on your business, not monitoring ours as with click bid management.

Does ADster use ADster?
Absolutely! We have been buying online advertising since 1998 from banners to pay-per-click for our other online business, infoSpider.com. Pay-per-click would be a good deal for us if there was far less click fraud, but that seems impossible. We had been doing pay-per-click because that was the only form of web advertising that seemed to work, but I found the time managing the click bidding to be a huge waste. I was also suspicious of click fraud when our daily budget would be depleted by noon with a few conversions on seemingly random days. The only advertising that was consistently working for us were the flat-rate text ads that webmasters were manually placing on their websites for us. I knew that we could automate the process with our experience from building and running the AltaVista paid inclusion program before they were bought by Overture and then Yahoo! Now that we have created ADster, I have switched most of our large advertising budget exclusively to our ADster program.

Will the ADster code in my page slow down my users load time?
No. We have developed a large server farm with superior redundancy and load balancing. ADster is able to overcome bandwidth limitations by having fast, reliable IP connectivity to the Internet within all major metropolitan areas-all over our bandwidth provider's optical Internet long-haul backbone.

We take a small percentage of revenue earned 25%, with the majority 75% going to the publisher.

We pay Net 60. We send out checks on the last Wednesday of every month.

How much work do I have to do to publish the ads?
You only need to insert a small line of text (less than 100 characters) into your website one time. We do everything else. You will never need to upload anything else to your website from us, ever.

How can I make sure that only 'good' text ads are displayed on my website?
No ads will run on your website, unless you personally approve them first. You have complete control.

How much do advertisers pay to display their text ads on my website?
You set the price. We will make suggestions, but ultimately it is your decision. Think of it like eBay for text ads.

Can I use ADster with other ad programs?
We can produce more revenue for publishers in most cases, but we do not require exclusivity. ADster can be used as a standalone or an incremental add-on to other programs. Incremental add-ons are made easy by being able to dedicate any size space on any page to the ADster program, from small (1 text ad) to large ad blocks (8 text ads).

Do I only get paid for the actual clicks on the text ads displayed on my website?
No, you are paid a flat fee for showing the text ad. We don't think that the publisher should be burdened by relying on the advertiser to write text ads that would entice a click to realize publisher revenue. The website space is valuable just like ad space in a magazine, regardless if a user clicks on a text ad. We don't think that the cost-per-click model accounts for the branding and exposure that an advertiser's text message receives, regardless of the clicks.

Do I need to enter into a long term contract?
No, use our service for a day or years.

What is an ADster Panel?
An ADster Panel is the block of text ad space that is displayed on your website. You can customize your ADster Panel to complement your website's design. Integrate your ADster Panel seamlessly into your website. We simply manage your text ad program in the background. That is why we do not place our logo or company name on your ADster Panel or website.

What is displayed in my ADster Panel when I don't have any ads to display?
An "Advertise Here" link that goes to a custom landing page on ADster with a screen shot of your website, traffic stats and pricing specifically pertaining to your website. This will create additional premium advertisers from people using your website that have not typically purchased text ads before.

How do I approve the ads so they will be displayed on my website?
We send you an email. You login and click on accept, accept with edits or reject . We do the rest.

What is the minimum I have to earn before I get a payout?
The default setting is $25 dollars. You can change it to more or less at any time.
