SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

THE CLIFFS "soundings" is published four times a year:
winter, spring, summer and autumn.

Submission of unpublished works should be mailed to
THE CLIFFS "soundings" P.O. Box 7, Calumet, MI 49913
or e-mailed to Submission (edgray@vertinpress.com)

Send 3 to 5 shorter poems, 1 to 2 short stories (500 words or less)
and b&w art.  (Send no originals.)
We do not accept simultaneous submissions
or previously published art.

Type the author's name and address in the far top right-hand corner
of the manuscript or artwork.
Attach a short sentence or two of personal biography.
Cover letters with submissions are optional.
All submissions by mail must contain a SASE.  Without a SASE
work cannot be acknowledged and will  be immediately discarded.

Copies of THE CLIFFS "soundings" are $7.50 ($8.75ppd).
Those published will receive a complimentary copy.
All rights to an author's work remain with the individual artist.

Submissions are open  year-round. 
Reporting time will vary, depending on the quality of the work received.
Solid creative works may be held for a longer period of time.

No part of this publication may be reproduced by any means
without prior permission of the artist and publisher.
