François-Auguste-René Rodin, the world-famous sculptor and Eugène Carrière, a significant late 19th-century painter and, met in the 1880s.
This exhibition at the Orsay Museum offers a rare glimpse of their painting and sculpture together with an overview of their similarities & differences. Over a hundred works will be on display, from plaster casts and terracotta, marble and bronze pieces as well as drawings. |

If you want to satisfy your child’s curiosity, take your kids along to the Palais de la Découverte to see this exhibition, entirely dedicated to these impressive animals...
The first section, is organised around five themes: “Beast or giant?”, “Our gorilla cousins”, “Gorillas in the tropical forest”, “The social life of gorillas” and “Gorillas in danger”.
The second section takes a look at scientists working with this species, with about 50 photographs and a film by André Lucas.
Talks, workshops and conferences are also on the agenda at this fascinating event. |

Walt Disney was the first to bring cartoons to a wide audience of all ages, sparking off the present-day success of animated films.
This exhibition at the Grand Palais brings together original drawings by Disney studio artists, never before displayed, and the original works of art which inspired them. While Disney was mainly inspired by drawing and engraving, he was also interested in European literature, architecture, landscapes and music.
