We have now played Dolphin Tale a TON more.. Why - Well we had heard that our initial observations were not the norm and that the Free Spins really were every bit as good as other competitive games. This new slot was awesome to play! I was very surprised to be saying that, actually. I have become obsessed with free spins and have not even played a whole lot of bonus games lately. However, I was very surprised to note that the wild symbols help out a ton on this game. We had 3 separate large wins between $40 and $50 and hit the bonus round for $60. Not too bad!! We made it through 200 spins with $88 profit and will definitely continue to play this slot!!!

Dolphin Tale is a slot for those who really like free spins and don’t mind waiting forever to get them. I elected to do a 200 spin test on this slot because 500 was just too much for me (500 is our usual test). In our 200 spins we did NOT get the free spins and just consistently drained out account with minor wins typically much less than the bet size. Our test was at $0.01 coin size, all 40 lines, and 5 coin bet. This is a $2.00 bet per spin and although we certainly were able to play for a while on this - we did not get a large win at all, in fact, we set the autoplay to stop at $10 win and it NEVER STOPPED… Ouch! Without the free spins - our diagnosis for this slot is that it is not one we will frequent.

I see this more as a diversion from other slots when you are taking a healthy beating  Starscape seems to have regular hits (from our extended play), but much like many of the newer slots - Starscape play MUST involve the bonus round to keep you playing and not losing all of your cash! Lucky for us we got the bonus quite often. We have played this game for a total of about 28 hours (between all of us). During this time we hit bonuses a lot and came away from the game with a minor amount of winnings. All in all, it was a fun experience but we wish we would have won a ton more money instead!
