SOME REFERENCES ABOUT THE KAMPA ISLAND APARTMENT

We loved the apartment and its closeness to the Prague Castle, and Old Town. Unfortunately, I forgot that we needed to pick up the key and didn't make arrangements with you for your Pick-up service. Luckily, one of the tenants of the building was able to help us and we were able to contact Tunde Bartha to let us in. We caught a cab and the driver charged us a bigger price then he should have. BUT - we loved our visit to Prague and would love to come back again sometime. Thank you.   Janet L.  June 2005

We had the best stay in this apartment but my only problem was the locks. The driver opened the door for us and after we settled in we decided to go out to have dinner. Unfortunately we could not unlock the door when we got back so we were locked out for two hours until somebody from the building showed us it was a three lock system. This should have been explained to us on arrival. Otherwise I would recommend this apartment to everyone.   Gail D.  July 2005

We enjoyed our stay at the Kampa Island apartment very much. The view and access to Old Town Prague was wonderful. There are a few items we think you should know about: 1. The washing machine was not working and probably just needed repair. It would have been helpful to have this available. 2. We did not realize that we could have had someone meet us at the train station. 3. Communication with Tunde Bartha was difficult with the way the internet communication was set up. When we arrived at the apartment by taxi we just happened to meet someone coming out of the apartment who helped us contact the building owner and get us to Tunde Bartha. Veronica then came in a short time to let us into the apartment. It was difficult to figure out how to get the key, since we did not have transportation or the location of the rental agency.   Janet L.  June 2005

Tunde Bartha was fantastic and responded immediately to a problem we had on our first night in Prague, avoiding a potential disaster with good humour and charm. The apartment was satisfactory and in a fabulous position but not very well equiped i.e. no can opener, not enough cutlery, not enough bedding (bedding very poor quality) not enough cooking pots (small saucepan needed at least) All of the taps leak so kitchen and bathroom surface are allways needing to be mopped up. Mattresses in mezzanine room could do with replacing. The driver Calvan (?) is so nice and helpful I can't praise him enough, lovely young man. I would definitely use this agent again and would also stay on Kampa again especially if the apartment was better equipped. I would also recommend that the advertisement does not secify riverside garden as this is not accessible. I would recommend this agent and this apartment (with reservations) to my friends. SOME REFERENCES ABOUT THE MOSTECKA BUDGET APARTMENT

Fantastic location and all the arrangements worked perfectly. The bathroom in the kitchen is s little strange but OK for a couple of days. Would have appreciated more bedding and duvets for the extra bed to enable singles to sleep comfortably.   elizabeth m.  October 2005

This Apartment is fantastic, and the building is beautiful. The access to the bridge is impossible to beat, you can get everywhere you need to go in Prague easily. Light sleepers beware. We had no problems, but there is street noise at night and in the morning. We very much enjoyed our stay in the Mostecka apartment and would highly recommend it!   Dana Y.  September 2005

Staff (Veronike) could not have been more helpful and the location was fantastic , right at Charles Bridge and within walking distance of all the major attractions.Bedroom was spacious and only minor complaint was the fact that the shower was part of the kitchen.I would certainly stay there again.   euan h.  December 2004

Location couldn't have been any better. They picked us up from the airport and dropped us off on-time. Area can be noisy and there are a lot of steps to go up and doors to go through (hence the lower rating on the building) but if you don't mind that, this place is great!   Steve B.  September 2004

The location is excellent and perfect. Situated in Lesser quarterm itis extremely convenient to see all the major (and minor even!) sites. The location is exactly at Charles bridge, with a grocery store next door and the most wonderful coffee shop around the corner (Cafe Kaficko) The main bedroom is huge and the windows open onto a busy pedestrian street--be warned that it can be very noisy at night. The only downside is that there is a bathtub sharing the kitchen space-totally fine for a couple to stay in, but if you are a larger group it may be inconveient. may 2004   Zahra S.  May 2004

The apartment was very large, with a great water heater and bath tub. The location of the apartment is amazing -- directly next to the gate to to the Charles bridge and extremely close to everything you could need, from restaurants to markets, to pharmacies or antique stores. The only negative is that the proximity to the "action" means that it can be pretty noisy on weekends late into the night, since it is just across from an outdoor cafe. Light sleepers may want to sleep on the sleeper sofa in the living room. Otherwise, it was wonderful and Jan was extremely helpful and prompt in picking us up from the airport and taking us to the train station. Excellent service all around!   Deborah S.  June 2004

SOME REFERENCES ABOUT THE KRASOVA APARTMENTS

The journey was great and the transfer from the airport very helpfull. Two things were not funny. Fisrt, no hot water in the bathroom :-( second, beds were not very clean :-(   JAUNET F.  December 2005

Apartment was quite nice. Building work next door was a nightmare, drilling sanding and general builders noise. Sounded like they were driling into the wall with a hammer drill into the room in which we slept. Also very noisy people in the same building, which kept us awake some nights until 05.00 am. Possibly a stag do. Love Prague though so would visit Prague again, but would probably stay in a hotel.   Colin G.  October 2005

Everything about the apartment was excellent and as described on the internet. We had an excellent stay (19 nights) and would recommend these apartments to our friends. My only two complaints are the following: 1- The cleaning service was mediocre at best. In fact it cannot be called a cleaning. It was no more than changing the towels and the sheets. All during our stay, the bathroom and the kitchen were not cleaned, the floor not vaccumed, and the furniture not dusted. 2- In all my correspondence with Astra, I was told that the offices are right in the building and that was a definite plus because it gave us internet access etc. However, ASstra offices were moved the day following our arrival. We visited Prague the first week of July '05. The apartment was spacious and clean. The furniture ordinary..IKEA type. The towels could have been better. There were a couple of minor problems which got fixed when we reported them. However we had a major catastrophe - our car, which we had parked on the street outside as adviced, got stolen on the first day in broad daylight!! It had a demobiliser so we think it was a professional job. Veronica was very helpful throughout and spent all day with us at the police station to help with the translations. Veronica, thank you! However, I strongly advice all visitors with cars to find a safe, covered parking for their vehicles.   Sujata M.  July 2005

We were very pleased with our apartment. It was only a 2 minute walk to the tram stop and 10 minutes to the sights from there! KRASOVA III APARTMENT 09-11.1.2005 Dear Veronika, This is a little note to say thank you very much for the apartment over the past few days. We all had a fantastic time, Prague was brilliant, we would all love to come back and visit again as soon as possible. In fact it was that miserable and wet and windy when we arrived back I just wanted to turn around and get on a flight back again. KAMPA ISLAND 13-21.2.2004 Dear Tunde Well, we've recouped from our jet lag and had a few moments to reflect on our visit to Prague. It was wonderful !!!!!!! Every aspect of our trip was simply great! From the moment your wonderful husband met us at the airport and until the time he dropped us off for our return to the USA, we were in awe of your city. The Kampa apartment was fabulous! All the necessities; an incredibly fantastic view and an even better location, made our stay one of the best, anywhere. You were correct when you told me that we would be in the heart of your city, we walked everywhere and thoroughly enjoyed every minute. Words can't express our experience and it will be one that we will never forget. The art, the architecture, the streets, the people and the food and drink were all tremendous, and the apartment was perfect! The apartment was very good and I would be delighted if you could add the following review of it to your RentInPrague.com website if that is possible. My 15 year old son and I had a wonderful 3 day stay in this apartment. It was clean and spacious and well equipped. However, it was very hot (it being August) and a fan or some form of air conditioning would have been very welcome. Apart from that, no complaints at all. The metro was so close by that it was not a problem being a little way out from all the main tourist attractions - in fact it was a good thing to get away from the crowds! We ate at two very good Italian restaurants nearby - Charleston and the pizzeria beside the metro station. Both were very good and cheap at under Ł10 for two of us! I recommend the airpot pickup service - it saves having to worry about taxis and buses, etc. and Jan was a great source of information about the city, includng recommending the above restaurants. 19 / 22.6.2005 KRASOVA APARTMENT   The owners were very friendly and we were picked up at the airport and brought straight to the apartment. They also told us a good place to change money and advised us against pickpockets and taxi drivers in town. When we arrived at the apartment they sat down with us and showed us several attractions on a map they gave us. The apartment was very spacious with all new furniture and mod cons.Right beside a tram stop so it was very easy to get into town. Well worth the money & i would advise any visitors to prague to stay with Astra Accommodation - they have plenty of properties all over the city to cater for any type of visitor with any budget

I want to thank you for the kindest reception you accorded to us in Prague, Krizikova Apartment (3-7 Jan, 2006)!!!!  I´m really sorry we were so tired after the train and could not talk really (we were sleepy and couldn´t speak english fluently, sorry!!) Nevertheless we really thank you and sure that next visit to Prague we use accommodation service only by ASTRA! Krizikova was cozy and comfortable, and I suppose a kind ghost lives there!) When our alarm-clock was ringing and we didn´t hear it and therefore lost precious time to see Prague, somebody began to dump different things (the comb from the table and so on)!! I guess our kind ghost waked us up this way )) Our stay in Prague was wonderful and then we spent 3 days in Karlovy Vary, Ceske Budejovice and Cesky Krumlov.
