What information do we collect?

Much of the information is collected during registration, when the buyer is asked his/her name, shipping address, e-mail address, zip code, billing information, credit card number and expiration date.

Apart from it, surveys may be conducted to collect further information. Our site does not collect any information about users under the age of 18. Our site also uses log files to keep track of each transaction; this information is used for resolving technical problems and re-creating errors.

Credit Card:

We ask for a buyer's credit card information including the number and expiration date, as the Registration/Checkout Data. This information is used only for verification and billing purposes. We have the services of Linkpoint, a leader in the field of electronic transaction processing, to keep transactions on MySolitaire safe.

Cookies:

We do use cookies. Cookies are text files that are stored by the browser on the computer's hard drive. Our cookies do not contain any personally identifying information. We use cookies just to maintain the user's session.

Any user coming to MySolitaire through an affiliate will also have an additional cookie placed on their hard drive in order for us to provide appropriate credit to the affiliate.

How do we use it?

Law Enforcement:

MySolitaire would cooperate with all law enforcement inquires and with all third parties to enforce their intellectual property or other rights. Local, state and federal law enforcement authorities can request a buyer’s personally identifiable information like name, street address, city, state, zip code, country, phone number, fax number, e-mail and company information. We can (if the buyer authorizes us to) disclose any information about him/her to law enforcement or other government officials.

Don't worry about providing your email address, it will only be used to indicate to your friends and family who the email is coming from. It will not be used for any other purpose.

Spamming is not allowed on MySolitaire. Any feature / service on the site may not be used to send spam mail to its registered users.

Customizing services:

Our buyer’s demographics, interests, and behavior based on the information provided to us upon registration or surveys may be important to us, as it might help us understand and serve our buyers better. Any research undertaken would be compiled and analyzed on an aggregated basis. Presently we may share this aggregated data with reliable third parties, but no personally identifiable information would be shared with any party unless the buyers concerned are informed of such collection or transfer. Further, a buyer may opt against allowing transfer of any information related to him/her by sending an e-mail to customerservice@mysolitaire.com

Information such as a buyer's password or credit card number is never disclosed at all.

We might collect certain technical information to insure that our site is working properly. For example, IP addresses of computers logged on to the site to help diagnose problems with our server.

Third Parties: We may share your personally identifying information with intermediaries, which is at present only the credit card company and the affiliate management company. They do not use your personally identifiable information.

However, the disclosure and use of information we collect from the buyers is what this policy applies to. The disclosure and use of the information a buyer provides to a third party may be addressed by different sets of rules. We can not and do not control the privacy policies of third parties.

The site may have links to other sites. This policy does not apply to those sites. Please beware that we (MySolitaire) are not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites. The buyers are encouraged to read the privacy statements of each and every such sites that collects your personally identifiable information.

Security:

At My Solitaire we are committed to providing our customers with a secure shopping experience. We understand that the top most concern of on-line shoppers is security of their credit card and personal data.
