I don't know how many of you have been stalked or harassed on-line but it isn't a pleasant experience for those of you who have been. My experience is fairly new and has been limited to a few memorable encounters. I won't mention any names but the harasser knows who she is without any of us pointing fingers.

This particular harasser/stalker uses anonymous proxies to visit the web sites of her innocent victims and leaves incredibly foul and untrue statements in their guestbooks. She's been known to write to visitors of the victims guestbook spreading her venomous rumors wherever she goes.

She's been known to write entries in her own guestbook, using a proxy, singing her own praises to the heavens. She takes great pleasure in editing existing entries offering suggestions regarding the size of her backgrounds, twisting the words around to make it sound like the visitor is in awe of her design skills.

When the victim gets fed up with the harassment and asks the harasser/stalker to stop, the victims provider gets a letter of complaint about spamming and being victimized herself.

The reason for the harassment and stalking is because of royalty free clipart and PSP tubes being offered for free on many graphics sites. Apparently, the harasser/stalker has it in her mind that these "free" graphics were put on the web or CD's for HER use ONLY.

I don't know about the rest of you but an artist I'm NOT. I depend on the talent of the professionals to create the clipart for me to use in my designs. Most of the PSP tubes and brushes I've seen are created with this very same royalty free clipart.

What unmitigated gall to try and tell me I can't use clipart I've purchased or tubes I've downloaded from free sites in my background designs because it's the same clipart or tubes she has used.

All over the web
Free for the taking
Is what their page said

She's vicious and mean
A bully and a snitch
Don't be intimidated
By the Cyber Witch

What's in the heart of a stalker
That makes them lose control?
What evil vicious demon
Lives deep within their soul?

Has the brain cell in charge of morals
Been flushed out as useless waste?
Has a genetic deformation
Been planted there in haste?

Do they suffer from neurosis?
Have they lost their freaking mind?
Will they ever stop to wonder
Why their friends are left behind?

Who can answer these questions?
I suspect only the stalker will know.
Beware of getting close to one
For they will surely blow.
