THE NATIONAL CENTER FOR MISSING & EXPLOITED CHILDREN RELOCATES
ITS MANHATTAN AFFILIATE TO MIDTOWN MANHATTAN
NEW YORK, NY - October 25, 2005 - The National Center
for Missing & Exploited Children® (NCMEC) announced the move of
its Manhattan affiliate from the New York City District Council of Carpenters
Building to The Met Life Building.
The new space is larger and positioned in the heart of the business district
enabling the office to be more accessible to all of Manhattan. The new
office space is donated by Winston & Strawn, LLP.

One of Winston & Strawn’s LLP clients is the New York Islanders
hockey team. “We are especially proud to be part of NCMEC to assist
in the ongoing efforts of Charles B. Wang and the New York Islanders who
believe in safeguarding our children's future.”
Mr. Wang, co-owner of the New York Islanders and a long-time supporter
of NCMEC, was the major contributor for NCMEC’s headquarters building
in Alexandria, VA. Additionally, Mr. Wang currently serves on NCMEC’s
National Advisory Board and members of the New York Islanders organization
serve on NCMEC’s New York Executive Committee.
