'I hired a car for two days from Santiago de Compostella airport on 07/04/06 and could not fault the excellent service. The staff were very efficient and polite and my hire car was waiting for me in the carpark as promised. All previous minor bumps and scratches had been noted in the booking out sheet, which is a refreshing change to some other companies I have used in the past.

'I have booked through CarRentals.co.uk on several occasions and have always found the site easy to use and always get an immediate confirmation.
I have just made another rental booking for Spain and there were no cars available and was advised on the website that the car selected would be on a request basis and that I would be contacted within 2 days with a confirmation. I had the rental vehicle confirmed in just 24 hours.

'When we arrived at Faro airport in Portugal we quickly found the Europcar desk and had our details processed very efficiently. I guess it took around 15 minutes from joining the queue to having the keys in my hand. We were allocated a brand new Renault Megane estate and then went off to the collection area outside the Airport building to pick it up. 15 minutes later we were on our way to our villa.
The return was very straight forward as per the instructions. We dropped the car off a few miles from the airport as instructed with a full tank of fuel and the assistant checked the car back in. We then climbed aboard the shuttle bus to take us back to the airport terminal. I guess the whole thing took less than 30 minutes.
Overall the rental experience was very good and the brand new car made it even better!'
