PREMIER RECOGNIZES KICKING HORSE CANYON WORKERS

Project Site 15 km east of Golden – Transportation Minister Kevin Falcon looks on as Premier Gordon Campbell acknowledges the contribution of the 250 workers involved in the Kicking Horse Canyon Project. Premier Campbell and Minister Falcon toured the second phase of the upgrade being done to improve the safety and efficiency of approximately 26 km of the Trans-Canada Highway from the junction of Highway 95 in Golden to the western boundary of Yoho National Park.

SURREY – The next phase of the Border Infrastructure Program will provide a continuous four-lane route from the Trans-Canada Highway in Surrey to the Canada-U.S. border, the Honourable Lawrence Cannon, Minister of Transport, Infrastructure and Communities and British Columbia Transportation Minister Kevin Falcon announced.
