Charlie Summerville has been in the trenches guiding as an
Alaska fishing guide since he was 19 years old and guiding fly fisherman in
Bristol Bay Alaska for the past 20 seasons. Charlie still guides 5 days a
week, so he never forgets were he came from and keeps his pulse on the
daily fishing conditions. Alaska Adventures knows the true value of a professional
fly fishing guide. Charlie has earned his guides respect by being a leader

Professional Fishing Guides
Alaska Adventures main goal is to have the best Alaska fishing guides working for them. Over
the years we have acquired a veteran staff of very experienced professional Alaska
fly fishing guides. Our professional guides range from 21-55 years old and have a combined fishing guide
experience of over 80 years guiding fisherman. The professional Alaska fishing guides
that work for Alaska Adventures come from all over the US to include Montana,
Florida, North Carolina, Upstate NY ,Ohio, Arizona and Washington State, they
represent a vast knowledge of some of the best fisheries in the country as most
of them are professional year round guides that work in Alaska during the summer
and guide elsewhere in the off season. Each professional guide is a United
States Coast Guard licensed boat captain, fully trained in cpr, first aid,
water safety, and has the technical skills to teach Alaska fly fishing classes, fly
tying and casting clinics nightly at the lodge or just rig your terminal gear
correctly.

in the industry, with each guide having his own specialties and favorite fishing
techniques to teach our guest's. These guides are some of the top fly fisherman
spin fisherman for Salmon, Rainbows, Char, Grayling and Halibut. Each
individual guide brings a unique flavor to the lodge atmosphere. Our
professional fishing guides for 2005 include Capt. Charlie Summerville,
Capt.Rafi Jeknovarian, Capt. Dan Dixon, Capt. Kevin Bonasara, Capt.
Jerimia Wilkins, Capt. Phil Byrd, Capt.Chad Bayles and Capt.Justin Bleicher.
