When I export my references from RefViz into EndNote, I lose my page numbers, even though I can see that they are present in RefViz. What can I do to keep my page numbers?
|
Answer:
If you are running EndNote version 9/X, you can resolve this by replacing a resource file within the RefViz application folder on your computer. The file is called RISHeadersMap.xml, and can be downloaded here: Right-click and choose "Save As" to download RISHeadersMap.xml (Click here to download the file in ZIP format) Save this file to the Resources folder within the RefViz folder on your computer. The default location for this folder is: - Windows - C:\Program Files\RefViz\Resources
- Mac - Applications\RefViz\Resources
Once you replace the file, any exports from RefViz into EndNote 9/X will transfer all page numbers into the EndNote library. Please note that this solution only applies to EndNote version 9/X. When you export from RefViz to EndNote version 8, only the start page will appear in the EndNote library.
