Airworthiness

The regulatory environment for the airworthiness of aircraft, engines, propellers, equipment, parts etc comprises requirements and procedures addressing the following:

1.  Design Standards
2.  Approval of Design Organisations
3.  Approval of production
4.  Maintenance Standards

These are supported by Continued Airworthiness activities such as the monitoring of accidents, incidents, and other occurrences with follow-up action.
