About the Library's Discussion Lists

The National Library of Australia uses the Sympa mailing list server to host a range of email discussion lists furthering the strategic and operational aims of the Library. Each list is managed by an officer of the Library. This person acts as the list owner and is responsible for establishing, day to day management and eventual decommissioning of the list.

The Library will host lists on behalf of a regional, national or international working group or agency, but only where the Library has an active role in the working group or agency and is able to assign a responsible officer of the Library to manage the list.
