I fish for anything that swims. As an avid angler I’ve experienced many different types of fishing. To make the most of my time on the water, I rely on durable, high performance gear. Lance Egan lives in Lehi, Utah where he works for Cabelas. Lance has fished the mountain west area extensively. In addition to trout fishing, he loves to catch warmwater species, his favorite being carp. Lance also enjoys saltwater fly fishing.

Lance is on the Ross Reels pro staff, and is an Umpqua Feather Merchants signature fly designer. He has nine top three finishes in the International Sportsmans Expositions "best of the west" distance casting events. Lance took second place in the 2003 ESPN Fly Fishing Challenge and won the Gold medal in the 2003 and 2004 ESPN Great Outdoor Games fly fishing event. He won the Gold medal in the 2005 Teva Mountain Games One Fly event, and is a member of Fly Fishing Team U.S.A.
