ILM maintains a separate International Terminal providing a full service Federal Inspection Station (FIS) to clear international flights. This includes US Customs, US Dept of Agriculture, US Dept of Immigration. Due to our strategic location, fueling convenience, and efficient passenger screening the airport has enjoyed strong continuous growth of international flights.

  • Free High Speed Wireless internet service throughout the terminal
  • The 8,000-foot-long runway repaving work is underway. Project also involves the installation of a new instrument landing system.
  • Air Wilmington FBO has it's General Aviation terminal under construction. Estimated date of completion is Nov.2006
  • DL-ASA-"The Delta Connection"anounces a new non-stop flight from Atlanta to ILM and return effective Oct.1. Leave Atlanta at 3:05 P.M. arrive ILM at 4:25 P.M. and return to Atlanta leaving at 4:50 P.M.arrive in Atlanta at 6:22 P.M.
  • Travelers can bring three ounce containers of toiletries. Items must be in a one-quart,clear plastic,Zip-top bag. No restrictions for medicines.
