On October 1, the Government of Sudan announced that the movements of all U.S. citizens visiting Sudan would be restricted to a 25-mile radius of the Republican Palace in Central Khartoum. Since that day, due to inaccurate media reporting, there has been much speculation over the effect these restrictions will actually have on Americans in the country.

She was traveling alone.
