The Power of Parents program helps to prepare, protect and empower families by dispelling the most common safety myths and reminding families of the importance of keeping an up-to-date photo of their child. The program offers a free, downloadable Child Safety Toolkit and a six-month email reminder service to prompt parents to update their child's ID photo. Family Trusted® Products, LLC $/Free
The Family Trusted Digital ID is distributed free to parents and guardians by sponsors at corporate and community-based events. The Digital ID stores a child's digital photos and identifying information safely in one place for immediate distribution in the event of a missing child emergency. Got 2B Safe! Think Smart and Take Charge was created to teach 3rd graders four critical rules to help protect them from abduction and sexual exploitation. To date, Got 2B Safe has been distributed to every elementary school in America, 72,000 schools, and all the program material are available online. SmileSafe Kids™ is a partnership with Lifetouch, NCMEC and more than 35,000 schools nationwide. The SmileSafe Kids program provides the families of every child photographed at participating schools with two safety ID cards that can help facilitate an immediate on-site search and coordinate a 24/7 image retrieval in the event that a child is missing. We co-developed The Qwest Connected Family Online Classroom, an online safety resource that informs parents and guardians about the risks children can face online. SafeAssured ID Solution captures vital characteristics on an encrypted mini-CD, containing a digital photo, video, voice track and digital fingerprints, plus many other features. Also included is an educational parents guidebook written in conjunction with the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children. In an effort to protect, educate, and organize on the subjects of child safety and Internet safety, Imagery Concepts, LLC includes the Kid’s Owner's Manual drawer in the Home Organizer virtual filing cabinet. The Safe Side $
Julie Clark, founder of the Baby Einstein Company, and John Walsh, host of “America’s Most Wanted” and co-founder of the NCMEC co-developed The Safe Side, an innovative series of child safety videos. The first video subtitled “Don’t Knows and Kinda Knows” DVD features Safe Side Superchick, a zany host who teaches kids important messages that empower them to stay safer in a variety of situations.
