Fly Out Fishing Journey to the Nush
Far removed from the Kenai Peninsula and South Central Alaska, the Nushagak River holds one of the largest runs of king salmon in all of Alaska. Each year upwards of 200,000 chinook return to this Western Alaska River. Departing west across Cook Inlet from Kenai, your journey to the "Nush" will take you through some of the most scenic and remote wilderness on earth. After crossing Cook Inlet, you will enter the Alaska Range through Lake Clark Pass and be surrounded by awesome views of Lake Clark National Park, Lake Illiamna, hundreds of miles of boundless tundra and raw wilderness, and finally the legendary Nushagak River.
