Retired V&E; Partner Whilden Breaks Senior Olympics Record
Robert H. Whilden Jr., a retired V&E; partner and current Senior Vice President and General Counsel of firm client, BMC Software Inc., broke a world record today at the Senior Olympics in Pittsburgh. Bob, competing in the men's 70-74 age bracket in the 2005 National Senior Games, won the 100-meter event in the track and field finals with a time of 12.7 seconds. The previous world record of 12.9 seconds was set in 1991.

Bob is a retired partner in Houston's Corporate Law Section.
