| There is no specific date at this time for a new server being added but it is something that will be looked into in the near future. |

So what can we do as a community to encourage GCI or the team that looks into this stuff into escalating there times tables on deploying a BF2 Server?

The best thing to do is what everyone has been doing. Keep posting here and telling us what you would like to see in the way of new games. |

Who is interested in a BF2 Server in Alaska? Email me at jfernandez@gci.net.
I will see what I can do to coordinate and I may even get an ip address to strat one up. I play tis game practically every night.
Leave me the following:
Your screen name
Your internet connection speed (So I can set ping kicks, if needed)
When your normally online playing
I'll do what I can to get something going! Let your friends know.

It Really would be nice to see a BF2 ranked server here in Anchorage. The GCI GAME servers always seem to be on the down slope of the gaming curve. Usually the new servers don't come online till everyone else has already gotten good dedicated servers up and the players have found there usual suspects as far as the servers they always go to. Right now BF2 is still building steam and so far has the best playability and team play of any game. I only see its follwing growing at this point in time and hope that GCI doesn't miss the up swing of the gaming curve on this one.

Anyone looking for a ranked stat server please go to 64.69.36.2
that is DFL's 24-7 Ranked server... Good pings from Palmer to it... give it a try.

Its up... we had to drop it for a while and reload the game and BF2CC kept crashing...
ALL is good now. |
