GENERAL
Q: What are the advantages of purchasing a FastTrack website?
A: The major advantage is price: a high quality design website for merely $3495. Since the website is already designed, a significant amount of design time is saved, therefore reducing the overall price of your project. Another advantage is time: a pre-designed site usually takes 15-30 business days from the time LevelTen receives client deliverables to develop and place the website on the Internet.
Q: What do I receive when I order a FastTrack website package from LevelTen Design?
A: Within 48 hours, after payment is received via our secure form, you will receive a Work Order, Basic Ordering Agreement and Client Deliverable Worksheet. All documents must be read, signed and returned to LevelTen Design before template development will begin.
Q: Can you make a custom website for me?
A: Yes. 80% of LevelTen Design's business is designing and developing high-quality, custom website for clients. If you are interested in our custom websites, contact an account manager.
PRICING
Q: What is the difference between unique and non-unique purchase?
A: NON-UNIQUE PURCHASE:
Non-exclusive purchase means that other people can buy the template you have chosen some time later.
UNIQUE PURCHASE:
Exclusive purchase guarantees that you are the last person to buy this template. After an exclusive purchase occurs the template is being permanently removed from the sales directory and will never be available to other customers again. Only you and people who bought the template before you will own it.
Q: Is it reasonable to make unique purchase of a template that was already purchased before?
A: Yes. There is very small chance that you will find the same design on the net. There are more than 3,000,000,000 webpages online according to statistics from Goggle.
Q: Is it possible to buy the particular image from the template?
A: No. We never sell the images separately from templates (as well as the templates separately from the images).
Q: I would like to make payment by company check. Is that possible?
A: Yes. Contact an account representative to find out how.
DESIGN
Q: Can I assume that templates come with all features I see on the example template?
A: A No, our example templates are just that. Base prices for FastTrack templates do not include features such as ecommerce backend, site search, or advanced search in database. LevelTen can custom-program these fields for an additional fee. If you have any questions, please contact an account representative.
Q: Do you provide any scripts with your templates or could you do some custom programming?
A: Yes, our templates include two (2) scripts that allow you to gather information from clients that we will install:
LevelTen Hit Counter:
Advanced site traffic metrics allows you to monitor in real-time a wealth of information about your site's visitors. Enables detailed analyze of your site's promotion and design.
LevelTen Formmail:
A contact form will be integrated into your site that e-mails submissions to you. The Formmail works with the L10 Hit Counter so that contact information is linked to visitor sessions so that you can view a detailed history of a contact's use of your site.
In addition there are several scripts that are offered as apart of the hosting that can be user installed or can be installed at an additional hourly charge.
We can do custom programming for an additional fee. We can be price any programming needs on an hourly basis.
Q: I would like to secure a template, but it is not available on the site anymore.
A: The template has been sold as an exclusive template and will no longer be available to purchase. Choose from similar templates in our collection!
Q: Will I be able to make updates to my site?
A: For html templates we suggest using Macromedia ContributeŽ, which will allow you to make simple text and image changes to your site. We do not sale Macromedia ContributeŽ, but we have suggested its use to many of our clients. Some templates, Macromedia Flash, which will require .fla files to make edits to.
Q: Are your websites Macromedia ContributeŽ compatible?
A: Most of templates come with HTML that is compatible with Macromedia Contribute. However, Contribute does have problems reading PHP and ASP driven websites. There is a possibility that Contribute may not work with some scripts within our package due to Contribute's limitations.
Q: Can LevelTen change the pictures on the website and put my own pictures instead?
A: Yes. However, pictures are limited to 10 total and do not include pop-up windows. Pictures that use pop-up windows must be written in with scripts and would be considered an additional charge for custom programming.
Q: Can I make changes to the FastTrack templates?
A: Yes. Standard changes include changing link names, and substituting up to ten images. Changes outside this scope may require additional fees. Examples of additional fees: Changing the entire template color, creating custom page elements, and customizing flash can be extremely time consuming and will require additional fee.
Q: Can colors of the template match my company's color scheme and logo, or do I have to use the provided color scheme?
A: LevelTen will spend up to one hour making color changes to your website template. If more time is needed, there will be additional charges.
Q: What, if any, additional cost would be incurred by adding to the template that is not already included? How are additional charges determined?
A: LevelTen offers FastTrack Option Packages that can be added to your site. Custom flash programming, additional pages and/or email are some of the options that can be added to your site for an additional hourly charge.
Additional charges are based on a fixed quote or an hourly rate.
Q: How do I provide content to the template?
A: Although the FastTrack templates are standard, the content is your own. All content can be sent via email or by standard mail. The content should be sent using pc-formatted text and/or graphics via Word, Excel, etc. sent only as soft copy. The content will be uploaded as sent. LevelTen will not edit or perform spell check on content.
Q: What is the best place to find photos/images for modification of my template?
A: We recommend you to purchase images from www.gettyimages.com.
Q: Are pop-up windows of information considered a full page of design?
A: Yes. Pop-up windows of information are considered full pages because scripts must be written to incorporate pop-ups and custom graphical treatment is typically required to enhance the look of the page. With the advent of pop-up blockers, pop-up windows are no longer an effective way to communicate a message.
Q: How many edits/revisions, if any, will LevelTen make to my website before it is completed?
A: One round of adjustments are allowed to complete your site. Please provide LevelTen with all revisions in a written format specifying the changes in detail.
