TITLEIST TOPS GOLF BALL COUNT AT THE OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP
Fairhaven, MA (July 24, 2006) - Titleist topped The Open Championship golf ball count for the 27th consecutive year, as long as records have been kept, with 106 players, more than six times the nearest competitor with 17.
In fact, 10 of the top 15 finishers trusted Titleist golf balls for their success, including runner-up Chris DiMarco (Pro V1). It took six days, but Titleist ambassador Ben Curtis captured his second career victory with a wire-to-wire five-shot win at the Booz Allen Classic.

Long Drivers Raise More Than $50,000 for Autism Playing World's Longest Course on Longest Day
Fairhaven, MA (June 21, 2006) - Former National Long Drive champions Art Sellinger and Brian Pavlet went longer than usual on June 20 when they completed 126 holes of golf on the world's longest course, The Pines at The International in Bolton, Massachusetts. Sellinger and Pavlet played the par 73 course at 8,390 yards seven times, or the equivalent of 33.3 miles (58,730 yards) of golf from sunrise to sunset on one of the longest days of the year, raising more than $50,000 for the Autism Society of America.
