In June, the Dallas office put together a program called, Exploring the Arts in Dallas, at the Nasher Sculpture Center. We arranged for representatives of the North Texas Business for Culture & Arts/Leadership Arts, Arts District Friends, Nasher Museum, Dallas Museum of Art, Dallas Symphony Orchestra, Dallas Theatre Center, Museum of Nature & Science, Trammell Crow Asian Art Collection and the Dallas Opera to be roundtable participants and present the summer associates with an overview of the Arts District and the various opportunities for young professionals to become involved in the arts.

We invited the law firms in the Arts District to bring their attorneys and summer associates to join us for this discussion. Law firm participants included: Gibson Dunn & Crutcher, Jones Day, Patton Boggs, Locke Liddell and Weil Gotshal & Manges. The format included a roundtable discussion, lunch (catered by Wolfgang Puck), and an opportunity to mingle with the various organization representatives. Special thanks to Dallas associates, Margaret Boren and Chris Rowley, for organizing and facilitating this fabulous event.
