Safety First

While we love having fun on the river and strive to ensure that your river adventure is truly a memorable experience, our first and foremost concern is the safety of our rafters.

Whether guiding the guest who is new to the rafting experience or our "white water hot doggers", our guides are always aware of the inherent risk involved and take every precaution to ensure that your trip is a safe one.

All our guides must have First-Aid and CPR certification. In addition, most are Swift-Water Rescue and Safety certified (rescue techniques, scene management, hydro-dynamics, swift water swimming, and swift water crossing, etc.) and have Wilderness First Responder Certificates (skills needed to respond to a medical emergency in the wilderness where medical assistance is likely to be delayed including comprehensive patient evaluation, practical treatment, long term monitoring and evacuation if necessary).

Our state-of-the-art equipment is inspected on a regular basis and repaired or replaced as needed. Life jackets are Coast Guard certified.

We take extreme pride in our impeccable record of safety, excellent service, and providing everyone from first time rafters to accomplished adventurers with an unforgettable river rafting experience.

In our ongoing efforts to provide you with the safest rafting experience possible, Rogue Klamath River Adventures is in the process of retrofitting all our vans to dual wheels.

We have never had any problems with our 15-passenger vans in our history, but with all of the incidents that have been documented, we felt that converting our vans would bring added confidence in our long standing commitment to customer safety.

We are the only outfitter that we are aware of that has taken this extra step to ensure your safety both on and off the water.

Remember, in rafting trips, as with all else, you get what you pay for.
