Pioneer PDP-5070HD
Pioneer has a "Plasma Persuasion" page on its web site with advice on how to "sell your spouse on HDTV." But their latest 50" plasma practically sells itself, with its deep blacks, accurate color decoding, and outstanding image quality. The TV has tons of inputs (including PC), dual-tuner PIP, and comes with detachable bottom speakers and a table stand.
