Las Vegas Shows
Las Vegas features some of the most exciting shows
and events in the world. Due to the high demand
for some shows and events in Las Vegas, many are often
sold out days in advance of the performance dates.
If you are taking a trip to Las Vegas and going to
take in a couple of shows, you should first do some
planning. With so many Las Vegas acts and concerts,
it is easy for one to get lost in the numerous ongoing
shows.
Whether you like Cirque Du Soleil's, New Show at
MGM Grand, or Barry Manilow in concert, Las
Vegas is the city for a great show. Las Vegas Time Share
has decided to list the shows for you in separate groups.
The five show groups will be Feature Shows, Production
Shows, Comedy Shows, Tribute Shows, and Adult Shows.
Las Vegas Feature Shows
Cirque Du Soleil's New Show at MGM Grand - This
slamming new theatrical show at MGM
Grand combines acrobatic performances, martial arts,
puppetry, multimedia and pyrotechnics to illustrate
the nature of duality. It's the epic story of a pair
of separated twins who must embark on a long and brutal
journey to fulfill their destinies.
Le Reve Las Vegas - An aquatic spectacular performed
in a domed theater in the round, Le Rêve Las
Vegas. Uniquely intimate and spectacularly personal,
no seat is more than 40 feet from the action. The show
is a completely new form of staging and artistic performance,
where the theater and water are crazy live with a vibrant
energy.
Celine Dion - The culmination of musical mastery,
advanced technology, and smashing musical talent at
its best. The Los Angeles Times raves, Dion is
the kind of powerhouse presence that makes your pulse
quicken. Celine Dion and Franco Dragone have set
the bar with this production and it can only be seen
at Caesars
Palace Las Vegas.
Elton John - Elton John has sold more than 200
million records worldwide, with 29 consecutive Top 40
Hits, earning 35 gold and 25 platinum albums. Tickets
will sell out very fast for the Elton John concert at
Caesers Palace in Las Vegas. Elton John Las Vegas
is a concert to be sure to make while in town.
Production Shows
O Las Vegas - Beyond circus, beyond theater,
Cirque du Soleil has created an entirely original
form of live entertainment. "O" pays tribute
to the magic of the theater at the Bellagio
Las Vegas.
Avenue Q - Winner of the 2004 Tony Award for
Best Musical, Avenue Q is Broadway's smash-hit musical
about finding a job, losing a job, getting an apartment,
getting kicked out of your apartment, falling in love,
avoiding commitment, dumping your sweetheart, wanting
them back, having a party, fighting a hangover, hiding
out in your apartment, and discovering the world.
Mystere - By Cirque du Soleil is a dynamic
kaleidoscope of sights and sounds performed in a state
of the art theatre. The international cast of 72 features
dancers, singers, musicians, champion-caliber acrobats
and a misguided clown.
Splash at Riviera - This completely insane extravaganza
includes new dance numbers inspired by the music, movies,
shows and personalities that made up the past 100 years
of Cin City entertainment! The new Splash pays
tribute to the stars from Elvis and Ann Margaret
to Usher and Outkast as well as the fantastic
Broadway productions of Mamma Mia and Phantom of the
Opera.
Comedy Shows
Danny Gans - He's the "Entertainer of the
Year" in Las Vegas, and his show is the one. Who
is he? He's Danny Gans. Fellow entertainers such as
Bill Cosby and Natalie Cole thought the man was as crazy
as they have ever seen.
Carrot Top at Luxor Las Vegas - Carrot Top's
comedy routine won him the 1994 American Comedy Award
for Best Male Stand-up. Carrot Top At Luxor
Las Vegas is great fun.
Hairspray - Set in Baltimore in 1962, Hairspray
is the story of plain-jane Tracy Turnblad, who is going
to do whatever it takes to dance her way onto TV's most
popular show.
Tribute Shows
Rat Pack - Produced by Dick Feeney and Sandy
Hackett, this show succeeds in transporting the audience
back in time to the days when the legendary "Rat
Pack" was at the helm of the Las Vegas entertainment
scene.
American Superstars - In continuing with the
tradition of showcasing today's hottest entertainers,
American Superstars at the Stratosphere
Casino Hotel and Tower continue to provide guests
with shows unlike any other on the Las Vegas strip.
Barbara & Frank at Hotel Riviera - It is
unlikely that these two powerhouse voices of the century
would have ever shared the same stage
until now.
They never worked together, exactly, except when they
taped a duet in separate recording sessions, but its
tantalizing to think what it would have been like to
have Barbra Streisand and Frank Sinatra
teamed up for a concert tour.
Adult Shows
Zumanity - a show for lovers, would-be lovers,
and anyone whose flowing juices have ever been sparked
by the idea of love. The international cast, consisting
of 50 lovable performers and musicians, will reach out
to take the audience on a 90-minute encounter, awakening
most primal urges to a new form of eroticism.
Crazy Girls - "Crazy Girls," is like
visiting a strip club, minus the $20 lap dance. They
dance the poles like the pros. These girls know how
to work it up and they're not afraid to come into the
worked up crowd. With of chains, black leather and spiked
heels, it's no surprise that the Riviera's "Crazy
Girls" has the audience in love.
La Cage - An exciting recreation of its famous
namesakes in New York and Los Angeles. La Cage features
the most accomplished female impersonators in the world,
highlighted by Frank Marino as the one and only Joan
Rivers, in the cosmopolitan tradition of the Parisian
cabaret.
