Search engines and statistics
There are a number of ways in which guests can find you. We have just mentioned how they can browse through the site, the main map of New Zealand and then the area page you are from.

Another important way is directly from the search engines. Because we give every host a page of their own, we are able to market each page individually. So our site is not just marketed once, it is marketed for as many times as we have hosts listed with us!

By giving us some keywords that reflect how you would like your business recognised, our talented and clever team will give it their best shot to get you listed on the major search engines.

Now don't panic if you don't come up first time, as we not only submit your page to the search engines, but your area page as well. This means that guests have countless ways of accessing you without actually knowing your website address.

You are also able to give your page address to your local tourism district website. Why pay to have your page made up twice. We are more than happy to put a link through from your region's page with Friendly Connections to your local regional tourist website. This way everyone gains, with even more exposure.

Statistics are the very important final factor in this. You may be there, but are people accessing your page? What country do they live in? How long do they spend looking at your page? And finally are they contacting you!

You are able to go and see this information whenever you wish by clicking on the links from our site or if you are not connected, Peter will send you a letter ever few months to let you know how it is all going.

Because we don't take the bookings, it's always great to hear from hosts and the number of bednights they have been able to fill.
