We know that publishers often make modifications to their products whether they be a minor edit or an entirely new version. That's why we allow all listing packages to make free modifications to their product page as often as needed. All product modifications will be processed by our staff based on the processing time associated with their listing package.

Our staff checks all files for viruses and spyware before adding them to our HTTP hosting platform and posting them onto Download.com. This helps to ensure publishers and their customers always receive safe, secure downloads. But, this also takes time. We'll have your new file live in fifteen business days if you select the Free Listing package or five business days if you purchase the Basic Listing package. If you add the 1-day processing option at check out to either the Free or Basic, or purchase the Premium Listings package, your file will be live within one business day. Please also note that business days do not include holidays or weekends.
Due to overwhelming demand, Free Listings may take an additional 2-3 weeks to process on top of the normal 15-day processing time. We realize that this might have a significant impact on your business plans. In these instances, we recommend upgrading to a Basic Listing (5-day processing) or purchasing One-Business Day Processing for next business day service.
Now you have the ability to link directly to an e-commerce page from your listing so that customers are only one click away from purchasing products. Depending on your selected listing package, Upload.com provides you with flexibility to effectively sell your product:
- Level 1 (Premium): Premium subscribers have the ability to post a buy now button on both Download.com and the WindowsMarketplace utilizing any e-commerce system, including Upload.com Merchant Services, Digital River's RegNow and Element 5 services, or their own.
- Level 2 (Basic): Basic subscribers have the ability to post a buy now button on Download.com utilizing either Upload.com Merchant Services or Digital River's RegNow and Element 5 services. Alternate e-commerce systems can only be used on the WindowsMarketplace.
- Level 3 (Free): Free subscribers have the ability to post a buy now button on Download.com only if they use Upload.com Merchant Services.
If your products are eligible and participating, Buy Now links from Digital River's RegNow and Element 5 services will be automatically added to Download.com via a daily feed that we receive.
