BNP Paribas Masters
Paris Tennis ATP Masters Series
In 2000, nine major men's tennis tournaments on the ATP circuit, were renamed the Tennis Masters Series. These tournaments are assured of the participation of the best players in the world and are the most important on the ATP circuit after the four Grand Slam tournaments.
Paris Open at Bercy indoor tournament was created in 1986. BNP was a founding sponsor of the new tournament, also called the BNP Open.
Past winners of the Paris Bercy Tennis Master Series have included some of the world's top champions - including Boris Becker, Stefan Edberg, Guy Forget, Pete Sampras, Andre Agassi, and Marat Safin.
Some 10,000 people watch the matches daily during the one-week event, making it one of the world's leading indoor tournaments in terms of attendance.

Egypt’s sunken treasure
Remains found in Alexandria, Canopus and Herakleion
The exhibition presents over 500 artefacts, discovered during marine excavations directed by Franck Goddio, exhibited for the first time and deepen our knowledge of Egyptian history.
Paris, after Berlin is the second place where the artefacts will be showed to the public. They were found under water over a 10-year period at the sites of the former ports of Herakleion and Canopus and the former port of today's Alexandria. The 500 objects retrieved during the underwater excavations span from the days of the last pharaohs to Alexander the Great and the period of Greek rule to the Roman conquest that ended with the age of Islam.

Paris International Boat Show
Taste of sea in Paris
For ten days, Porte de Versailles transforms into a marina for the Paris Boat Show. More tha 1000 exhibitors will present nautical and leisure activities over a surface area of more than 100 000 m².
The trade show is now organised around three areas: “Yachting and Tourism”, “Speedboat racing” and “Equipment” and as usual offers a huge programme of events and an armada of sailing boats, yachts and more…to marvel at and visit.
