Kenai Fjords Tours annouces their new partnership with the National Park Service.

We have combined the expertise of Kenai Fjords Tours' captains, certified through the National Association of Interpretation, with the National Park Service to bring you a new interpretive program presented on Fox Island by a National Park Ranger.

Interpretive Programs will include a variety of topics such as:

• How the National Park Service helps protect the nation's natural and cultural heritage.
  
• Effects that Harding Icefiled and outflowing glaciers have made on Kenai Fjords National Park.
  
• Gain a better understanding of how glaciation, climate, plate tectonics, global warming and human interaction have helped shape the dynamic landscape of Kenai Fjords National Park.
  
• Learn more about the fragile ecosystems such as mountains, ice, ocean currents and what you can do to protect them from future harm.

Fox Island Escape

Only Kenai Fjords Tours offers guests an opportunity to visit Fox Island, former home to Rockwell Kent during 1918-1919. He was a painter, writer, political activist and man of many talents.

Now you can explore the wonders of Fox Island too!
