Dear Hoteliers and travellers!
Is it not tempting to go to Spain or the UK for 19 Euro? Flying is nowadays easier than ever before. Europe experiences a boom of cheap airline foundations. But who has not experienced that the flight for 19 Euro was actually not available when wanting to book? Is it only an advertising stunt or can we really rely on what we are shown on big billboards or in newspapers? And is it indeed safe enough? Experts say yes! Every cheap airline has to pass the same security measures that other airlines have to pass. So are they in the end better than their reputation?
The competition among cheap airlines is immense but experts expect a breakdown in the close future. There will only be place for a small amount of airlines and one or two niche providers. Not all of the planes that destine today will be still here tomorrow. The winners and losers of the future will be played against each other anew every single day. It is very likely that the big airlines who have big companies such as Lufthansa or Hapag –Loyd-Express behind them will survive the battle. So what will happen in the future to the air travel? What can we expect and most important how much are we going to pay for a trip to to some sunny days?

Tunel; 100 seconds nostalgia in Istanbul |
Tunel has always been special for Istanbul and Beyoglu lovers. It’s difficult to say if this popularity comes from being the world’s second oldest metro or from being the heritage from the 19 century''s Pera era. No matter where it comes, tunel is one of the symbols of Istanbul and this 571 meter long railway station has been tieing up Karakoy to Pera since 1871. That time Pera was one of most prestigious residential areas and Galata was the popular trade centre of Istanbul. Businessmen living in Pera had to walk everyday to Galata Karakoy. The distance from Karakoy to Pera is not much, but the road is a tough hill. A French engineer who had noticed the difficulty, had proposed this railway project to Ottoman Sultan and the construction has started right after when the permission was granted. Since that time trains are going back and forth between Karakoy to Tunel in every 3 minutes and the trip takes about 1,5 minutes. No chance to miss your station cause there are only two. The one you hopped in and the one you are going to get out.

Athens: to forget or to neglect |
It was more then ten years ago when I was in Athens for the first time. Athens was the city of my childhood. No doubt, when you are interested in the classical age, it is a must to see this city. The first meeting was of course an enthusiastic one. After one week I started to see the lines between my imaginations and the reality. Due to the respect for the city’s place in history, I could not draw my conclusions after one week, I thought. I would come back, very soon.
