- Straight (Single-Number) Bet
- The player places chips inside one of the numbered
spaces to bet that the ball will land in the corresponding
slot. Payoff: 35 to 1.
- Split (Two-Number) Bet
- The player places chips on a line between two numbered
spaces to bet that the ball will land in either of
the corresponding slots. Payoff: 17 to 1.
- Street (Three-Number) Bet
- The player places chips on the outside line of the
layout to bet that the ball will land in one of the
three slots corresponding to the numbers in the adjacent
street. Payoff: 11 to 1.
- Corner / Square / Quarter
(Four-Number) Bet - The player places chips on
the intersection of the lines between four adjacent
spaces to bet that the ball will land in one of the
four corresponding slots. Payoff: 8 to 1.
- Line (Five-Number) Bet
- The player places chips on the intersection of the
lines separating the 1, 2, 3 row and the 0 and 00
spaces to bet that the ball will land in one of these
five slots. Payoff: 6 to 1. (Note: American roulette
only!)
- Line (Six-Number) Bet
- The player places chips on the intersection of the
sideline and the line between two streets to bet that
the ball will land in one of the six slots corresponding
to the numbers in the two adjacent streets. Payoff:
5 to 1.
- Column Bet (Twelve-Number)
Bet - The player places chips inside one of the
three blank spaces at the bottom of the layout to
bet that the ball will land in one of the twelve slots
in the same column. Payoff: 2 to 1.
- Dozens (Twelve-Number) Bet
- The player places chips inside one of the spaces
marked "1st 12", "2nd 12", or
"3rd 12" to bet that the ball will land
in one of the twelve slots 1-12, 13-24, or 25-36,
respectively. Payoff: 2 to 1.
- Low or High Bet - The
player places chips inside one of the spaces marked
1 to 18 or 19 to 36 to bet that the ball will land
in slots 1-18 or 19-36, respectively. Payoff: 1 to
1.
- Odd or Even Bet - The
player places chips inside one of the spaces marked
Odd or Even to bet that the ball will land in an odd-numbered
or even-numbered slot, respectively. Payoff 1 to 1.
- Red or Black Bet - The
player places chips inside one of the spaces marked
Red or Black to bet that the ball will land in a red
or black slot, respectively. Payoff: 1 to 1.
