9th Annual Victoria International Walking Festival - April 21 - 23, 2006
Join walkers from around the globe for a wonderful weekend of fun, fitness and friendship at this three-day festival which provides outstanding walks in a non-competitive, non-political atmosphere, seminars relating to walking, a Walk Expo and social activities. Registrants walk at their own pace and can choose from ten different "Blossom Walks" trails ranging from 5 and 10 km walks suited to the recreational walker, to the 21 half-marathon, 32 km long-distance and 42 km marathon walks intended for serious walkers.

Heavily framed and planked in yellow cedar, she is modeled after Joshua Slocum's SPRAY, the first vessel to circumnavigate single-handed in 1895. THANE is fashioned out of recycled materials salvaged from industrial sights and character buildings. We sail daily from Victoria's Inner Harbour. No minimum number required. Bring along a picnic.
