Thank you for visiting Tourism Victoria's Book Online site. Participating Tourism Victoria members offer a wide range of accommodation options at a variety of prices in cities and regions throughout Vancouver Island and parts of the mainland of British Columbia, Canada. You can review rates and descriptions of each property as well as services offered. Make secure reservations online and receive instant e-mail confirmation.
We soon will be adding more products to book online including activities, attractions, transportation and special packages - so come back and visit us often!

Searching for a place to stay
|
|
Finding the perfect place to stay is simple! Using our Tourism Victoria web site, you can select accommodations featuring online reservations using our "Quick Search" on the "Book Online" page and other pages. You also can view all member accommodations (including those that do not offer online reservations) by using our Accommodation Search located in our Accommodations and Advanced Search sections of our site to conduct a search. Please follow the instructions provided to use this particular searching tool.
Once you select your search criteria you want, the "Your Search Results" page displays a list of our member businesses relevant to your search criteria. From here you can change your search criteria, check availability, begin a new search, and so on. Go to Using the "Your Search Results" page for more information.

Quick Search
If you know the name already of the property where you want to stay, use the "Accommodation Name Search" on the "Quick Search" page for fastest results. You may also use our "Detailed Search" on the "Quick Search" page to select a destination, for example, community or area, and/or accommodation type such as a resort.

When you see the list of properties that result on the "Your Search Results" page, look for the "Book It" to the right of the screen beside each business listing. Click on the "Book It" to view detailed information about the property including date availability, room type descriptions, room features as well as photos.

Remember! The more information you enter, the more precise your search will be. Try these search tips:
- Check spelling.
- Select an area as well, instead of only selecting a community name from the Location drop down boxes (*Note that areas may change, based on the community name selected).
- If you have used abbreviations (e.g. type "St." for "Street."). try typing the entire word.
- If you don't know the exact location, try other search options.
- If there are still no matches, try a nearby destination or accommodation if possible.
Creating a New Search
If you would like to create a new search, use the "Refresh" button beside the "Search" button at the bottom of the "Detailed Search" on the "Quick Search" page. There are also helpful search tips located directly under the "Detailed Search" page to assist with any additional search questions.
View our Maps
Our easy-to-use maps and destination links let you browse Victoria, Vancouver Island and surrounding Islands and cities to find out more information about a place to stay. To search, visit our Maps pages. Click a region on the Island map or other maps and then select a city / town destination link. Continue this search until you have located your preferred destination. Once you select a specific location, click on the location name to see information about the city / town. Use this information as a reference to help you locate the area you would like to stay. (Please note, you may review all regional community information at once by scrolling down below each of the maps.)

Using the "Your Search Results" page
|
|
The "Your Search Results" page displays a list of properties based on the search criteria you have entered (for example, destination, category such as hotel, and so on). From the "Your Search Results" page you may:
Changing your search criteria
If you are not satisfied with your search results, you can change or add to your search criteria to see a different set of results. For example, if you select Greater Victoria as the community, yet you are interested in just Sooke, you can ask to see the properties in Sooke only by selecting Sooke in the Area Drop-down box. You can also search by travel dates, and features (amenities), or begin a new search.
From the "Detailed Search" page on the "Quick Search" page use the "Refresh" button beside the "Search" button at the bottom of the page. By selecting the "Refresh" button, you will clear all previously entered search criteria. You now may enter new search criteria to generate a set of new results.
If you have created a search and would like to change your search criteria once you are on the "Your Search Results" page, simply use the link at the top left of the "Your Search Results" page called "Return to Search." This will return you to the "Quick Search" page where you now may create a new search based on new search criteria.
To change your search criteria, choose one of the following options in the "Detailed Search".
Please note! Options may change depending on the type of search you perform.
- Accommodation Name Search - use this search box to locate a specific business if you already know the name of the accommodation property where you wish to stay.
- Location Search - Enter in Country, Prov/State, Community and if you like, Area information, to help narrow your search for the location of where you would like to stay.
Note: If you search a large city area using the Location Search, you may be able to refine your search criteria further by utilizing the area selection drop down box to the right of the community selection showing all regions in the area. Not all cities/communities have areas assigned to them.
- Enter travel dates - Enter your check-in date and the search will return results for the next 2 weeks beginning with the date you have entered combined with any additional search criteria you have entered. Once you select an accommodation's "Book Online" button you will be shown all rooms for that property with availability shown for the dates specified in your search. Available rooms will be indicated with a green check mark, If rooms are not available they will have a red cross. Go to Checking availability for more information.
- Change travel dates - Change the check-in date you previously entered.
- Refine search - Using the "Return to Search" allows you to change the preferences you previously selected for your search. You may refine or add other search criteria to narrow/broaden your search. You can request personal preferences such as travel dates, accommodation types, and/or specific features (amenities) and services. Keep in mind that the more criteria you enter, the fewer results you'll receive.
- View surrounding area - Search a larger area by only selecting the community rather than narrowing your search by selecting an area within a community. This will result in a list of additional properties from within a greater area surrounding your preferred destination.
- Begin new search - Choose the "Return to Search" link on the top left of "Your Search Results" page to make changes to any previously entered search criteria and to create a new list of search results. From the "Quick Search" page, use the "Refresh" button located beside the "Search" button at the bottom of the "Detailed Search" to begin a completely new search.

Checking availability

Checking availability for properties
Whether you enter a specific check-in date or not as search criteria, the results will include properties with available rooms as well as non-available rooms so you can see a complete list of Tourism Victoria member properties in a particular area as well as see alternative room types that may be of interest.
A property's main page appears when you click its name on the "Your Search Results" page or by clicking the "Book It" button beside the property's listing. Each property listing displays an "Availability Calendar" showing all room types for that property with availability for each room type. You may adjust check-in dates on each availability calendar at the property listing level by using the calendar tool on this page.
Using the Availability Calendar
Refer to the Availability Calendar to see:
- Available and non-available dates
- Price ranges for each room type
- Requirements and restrictions
- Specific details about room types
Available rooms for specific dates will be indicated with a green check mark. If rooms are not available for specific dates, they will have a red cross.
Note: The Availability Calendar may not reflect exact rates and availability as rates may vary depending on the number of guests in your party. Rates may not include service charges, fees, or other incidentals.
Information about each property including a welcome message from your host, directions, terms and conditions and cancellation policies are listed below the availability calendar. Please read this information carefully as it will indicate any restrictions or conditions that may apply to your reservation.
To view specific details of each room type, click on the room name located in the "Type" column (the names are blue links) on the "Availablility Calendar."
Helpful hints and tips
When you check availability, the computer reviews all of your search criteria elements to find properties that match all of your search criteria. However, if your search returns no results, please consider the following:
- Minimum stays: Some accommodation properties require a two-night minimum stay on weekends and holidays. Please see Using the Availability Calendar to learn how to find requirements and restrictions.
- Widen your search: If you are searching by personal preferences and can't find a match, try broadening your search by selecting "Any" types, for rooms as an example.
- Act fast! Many accommodation properties fill their rooms quickly, so make your reservations early!
Still no matches?
If you still find nothing available, this unfortunately means we do not have rooms available that meet your criteria. Please try alternate dates, another property, or a nearby destination if possible.

Viewing a property
|

To learn more about a property, just click the property's name or the "Book It" button in a list of search results. You will find detailed information about the property and its surrounding area, plus information about each room type by clicking on the room name in the availability calendar. Coming soon! see photos of exteriors and guestrooms for each property.
You can check availability from a property's main page and book a room directly.
When you view a property, you can find information about:

Finding rates
|
|
To see a property's room rates, select the property's name or the "Book It" button for a specific property in a list of search results. You'll find detailed information about the property on the "Availability & Date Selector" page for each property. View information specific to each property including details of the surrounding area, plus information about each room type by clicking on the room name in the availability calendar. Rates are listed beside each room type as well as the maximum occupants allowable for each room type.
Here are some general facts about rates for our member properties. For specific rate information, please note the property's rates during the booking process as well as any stated terms and conditions, and cancellation policies on each property's "Availability & Date Selector" information page.
Prices shown on the "Availability & Date Selector" page represent a sample range for each property's room types and can vary depending on travel dates and the number of guests in your party.
- Weekend rates are sometimes higher than weekday rates. Rates also may be higher during peak seasons.
- When you begin to book a room, rates you see are based on single or double occupancy, depending on the type of property. You will see actual rates after you enter the number of guests.
- Children's rates vary depending on the property's policy. The age at which children are charged the adult rate also varies. Children's rates are not listed separately—they are included in the total room charge. Please refer to the property's Terms and Conditions for conditions concerning age of children.
- All rates displayed on the "Availablity Calendars" are in Candian funds, unless otherwise specified in the property's terms and conditions.
- Applicable taxes are included in the rate when viewed in your "Shopping Cart". Tax will be displayed separately once your reservation is confirmed and will be listed on your confirmation e-mail.
- Rates may not include service charges, fees, or other incidentals.

Making a reservation
|
|
Once you find a place to stay and verify room availability, you can make a real-time online reservation. Before you book your room, please note the following:
- You must check room availability prior to booking.
- A credit card is required to secure your reservation (VISA or MasterCard).
- Some properties may charge a booking deposit once they have received your reservation information (Usually the amount of the first night room charge). Any deposit taken by the accommodation property is not an additional fee added to the reservation amount and will be shown as a credit toward the original reservation amount at time of check-in. Please refer to individual property terms and conditions and cancellation policies.
- Terms & Conditions and Cancellation Policies vary. Please read them carefully.
- All total owing amounts on this site include tax.
- All applicable taxes are calculated and are included to your total balance owing at time of check-in. Each property's tax information is displayed when your reservation is confirmed and is printed on your e-mail confirmation form. For more information about taxes please see our Tax Information section.
To make a reservation:
Select the Accommodation Type, Arrival Date, Number of Nights and Occupants in the "Make a Booking" section at the bottom of the "Availability & Date Selector" page.
Note: Some accommodation properties offer special discount "Rate Groups" for online bookings. Please review the "Rate Groups" drop down list in the "Make a Booking" section for any discounts for which you may be eligible.
- If you are viewing a list of properties from "Your Search Results" page, click "Book It" for the place you want to book. Or, click "Book It" on a property's main "Availability & Date Selector" information page.
- On the "Make a Booking" section of the "Availability & Date Selector" page, enter a room type, arrival date, number of nights, number of adults and children (if applicable) before completing a booking. If you have not checked these items, you'll be prompted to do so when you try to make a reservation.
- Select the "Add to Cart" button to complete the individual reservation or to add the reservation to an ongoing list of reservations being made in your "Shopping Cart". Use the "View Cart" button to review reservations that have been compiled to be charged in a single transaction.
- To book multiple items, add each desired reservtion to your shopping cart by using the "Add to Cart" button before completing the booking process.
- On the "Shopping Cart" page - review your selections to verify the reservation(s) you have made prior to making payment.
- Once you have verified the reservation(s) in the "Shopping Cart" as items you would like to book, click the "Book" button below the "Shopping Cart".
- Please read and confirm that the information on the "Confirm" page is correct and that you agree to comply with the Terms and Conditions of using Tourism Victoria's reservation system and the Terms and Conditions and Cancellation Policies of the accommodation property. If you agree, please click the "Continue" button at the bottom of the page.
- Continue with the "Login" process. If you are a new user of the system, please use the "Are you a New User?" link at the bottom of the "Confirm and Login" page. If you have used the system before, please enter your e-mail address (which is your username) and password to login. For useful tips about creating and using your password please refer to our About your username and password section.
- For new users, please complete the required "Guest Information" page, click the "Save" button and continue with the reservation process.
- If you have registered as a user on Tourism Victoria's main website, please note that you will need to complete a new user profile for the "Book Online" section of the site in order to complete reservations on the site.
- If you have forgotten your password for the "Book Online" site, you can use the "Forget your password?" link at the bottom of the "Confirm and Login" page and your password will be e-mailed to you.
- Once you have logged in, the "Confirm and Login" page will display your personal information for you to confirm. You now will be able to add the credit card information that will be used to process your reservation(s). *At this time, you can also submit a special request to the property if desired. Protecting your privacy is important to Tourism Victoria. Tourism Victoria's Privacy Policy explains how we handle the personal information you may provide while using Tourism Victoria's web site. Please view our Security on our Site section if you are concerned with Internet security issues.
- Click the "Continue" button to proceed with your booking. Please read the Terms and Conditions and Cancellations policies set out by Tourism Victoria and by the properties with whom you are making a reservation with. Once you have read these terms and agree with them, click the "I accept these terms and conditions" check box on the Final Confirmation screen. At this point you are able to "Change Dates and Accommodation Details" or "Complete this Booking" by selecting the corresponding buttons at the bottom of the page.
- Congratulations, you have just made a confirmed reservation! An e-mail confirmation will be sent to you and the accommodation property immediately. Please verify your reservation information. You may want to print the page for your records by using the "Print Invoice" button at the bottom of the "Booking Completed" page.
- Use the "Follow this link to either review or cancel your booking" link at the top of the "Booking Complete" page to display your "Main Reservation Details" page. All of the reservations that you have made will be displayed on this page.
- To view specific reservation details, click on the "Rez Number" beside the accommodation name for each reservation on the "Main Reservation Details" page. To cancel a reservation, please go to our Changing or cancelling a reservation section.
- Once on the individual "Reservation Details" page you will be able to view the specific details of your reservation(s).

* The number of beds does not include rollaways, cribs, or any other extra bedding that may be brought into the room. Please note the maximum number of people each room can accommodate and the age at which children are charged the adult rate. Please remember to include all members in your party, including infants, so that the property may accommodate you accordingly. Special requests such as rollaways, cribs, or other extras may be subject to additional charges. Requests are not guaranteed.

Tax Information
|
|
The Federal Goods and Services Tax (GST) is a value-added tax of 7%, applied to most purchased goods and services, regardless of whether the buyer is a resident of Canada or a visitor to Canada. Visitors living outside of Canada can obtain a rebate on most goods taken out of Canada and for the GST on accommodation if their stay is less than 30 days.
An 8% Provincial Hotel Room Tax is levied on most BC accommodations, with the exception of campgrounds, houseboats, and some bed and breakfasts. Some local municipal governments, where approved, levy an additional 2% Tourism Tax on accommodation bills and houseboats.
Visitors may file for a GST rebate once they return home and will receive reimbursement by cheque.

Changing or cancelling a reservation

Cancelling a reservation
Before you change or cancel a reservation, be sure to read the accommodation property's policies (see your reservation confirmation e-mail.) To change or cancel an existing reservation online:
- Click the web link provided on the e-mail confirmation that was sent to you when you made your reservation.
- You may also return to the "Book Online" section of this site and view reservations or make cancellations by using the "View Reservations" link on the left navigation of the "Book Online" page.
- If you are not already logged-in, log-in by entering your e-mail address and password. (If you have forgotten your password, click on the "Forgot your Password? Click Here" link.
- Click in the check box(s) next to the reservation(s) that you want to cancel in the "cancel" column.
- Click the "Update Cancellations" button at the bottom of the screen.
- When you click "Update Cancellations", you will see the property's Deposit and Cancellation policies. Please review the policies carefully! Some properties will not allow online cancellations within a specific time prior to check-in. In this case, please contact the property directly to cancel your reservation and to avoid a possible cancellation or "no-show" fee. Refer to your original e-mail confirmation for the property contact information.
- After reviewing the terms and conditions and cancellation policy of both the property and Tourism Victoria, click the check-box next to "I agree to these cancellation terms" to agree to the terms.
- Finally, click "Cancel Reservations Selected". You must click this button to cancel your reservation.
- If there are no cancellation restrictions, your reservation will be cancelled successfully and you will receive an e-mail confirmation. You do not need to e-mail Customer Service about a successful cancellation—a copy of your confirmation will be sent to the accommodation reservation desk.
Changing dates and other information
Note: Currently, you are not able to change reservation dates without cancelling your original reservation and re-booking your requested reservation with new dates. This also includes changes to room types or the number of rooms listed on the original confirmation. Please contact the property directly to make this type of adjustment. We appreciate your patience while we continue to enhance the site.

About your user name and password
|
|
In order to store "Shopping Carts" and to make reservations using the "Book Online" section of Tourism Victoria's web site, you are required to enter an e-mail and password. Your e-mail and password allow you to make future reservations quickly and easily. Simply enter your e-mail address and password to add your personal contact information to the reservation form automatically. You also can use your e-mail address and password to view or cancel a reservation.
Please note! Your e-mail (user name) and your password:
- Are site-specific and will function only from the Book Online section of Tourism Victoria's web site, so if you have logged in as a user of Tourism Victoria's main web site, you will be required to create a new user profile to make reservations.
- Are case sensitive. We will record your entry exactly as you type it, so please remember if you used upper case or lower case letters, or a combination of both.
- Must be a minimum of 8 characters, up to a maximum of 15.
- Must be letters and/or numbers only (for example, john123 or johnjones). As you type your password, characters appear as asterisks (*) to ensure confidentiality.
Remember your user name and password! Your user name is the e-mail address you first provided during the Login process to register as a user of the Book Online section of this web site. If you have forgotten your password, please click on the "Forgot your Password? Click Here" link and your password will be sent to you via e-mail.
If your e-mail address or other personal contact information changes, be sure to update your member profile so that future online reservations will reflect the correct information.

About our technology

Tourism Victoria uses the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology to ensure that your transactions are secure and private. The SSL technology encrypts all of your personal information, including your credit card number, so that the information you enter on our site is secure. Netscape Navigator version 4.6 or higher and Internet Explorer version 4.0 or higher support the SSL technology. However, some local area networks behind Internet firewalls are configured to disallow transmissions of encrypted data.
Our state-of-the art technology ensures that your name, address, and credit card number cannot be read while the information travels over the Internet. Only the accommodation property at which you are staying will receive your credit card information.
If you try to enter the secure site and receive an error message, please upgrade to the most current version of your browser or switch to a secure browser. You can download the latest versions of Netscape and Internet Explorer from their home pages.

Who is Tourism Victoria?
Tourism Victoria (Greater Victoria Visitors and Convention Bureau) is a not-for-profit industry association responsible for the official development and promotion of tourism in Greater Victoria as a premium tourism destination.

Tourism Victoria's Terms and Conditions of use
|
THIS AGREEMENT is made between you, (“the Site User”) and the Greater Victoria Visitor & Convention Bureau (“Tourism Victoria”).
The Site User agrees to use the Tourism Victoria reservation system on the www.tourismvictoria.com web site (“the Site”) strictly in accordance with and subject to the terms and conditions set out in this Agreement.
The terms and conditions of this Agreement constitute the entire agreement between the Site User and Tourism Victoria.
ACCOMMODATION RESERVATIONS TERMS
Upon making a reservation, the Site User’s credit card may or may not be charged a reservation deposit ("the Deposit") at time of booking by the provider of accommodation (“Accommodation Owner”). The Deposit may or may not be refundable depending on the Terms and Conditions and Cancellation Policies provided by the Accommodation Owner at the time of booking.
The balance of the total cost of each reservation is payable by the Site User to the Accommodation Owner together with any other costs and charges incurred by the Site User to the Accommodation Owner.
Tourism Victoria will issue a reservation confirmation on behalf of the Accommodation Owner for each reservation. The confirmation may not include or make reference to charges for additional services or service charges. However, the confirmation will include applicable taxes for the original amount of the reservation(s).
Upon receipt of the reservation confirmation, the Site User is advised to contact and confirm the Accommodation Owner’s exact terms of offer. The confirmation number provided should be used in all dealings regarding the reservation. Refunds in respect of payment to the Accommodation Owner, are a matter between the Site User and the Accommodation Owner. Tourism Victoria accepts no liability for loss, expense or other claims consequent upon illness, personal circumstances or for any other cause of any kind and the Site User hereby releases Tourism Victoria from any such liability that might otherwise apply.
METHOD OF PAYMENT
All reservations on this site must be made by credit card. (i.e. VISA or MasterCard). The Site User must use a credit card that is accepted by the accommodation for which the reservation is made (VISA or MasterCard) as not all accommodations accept both of these types of credit cards. While accommodation properties may accept other forms of payment, only VISA and MasterCard credit cards are accepted on this site.
Whilst Tourism Victoria maintains all reasonable precautions to ensure industry-standard transaction security, it accepts no responsibility for damage or loss of whatever nature and however arising from or in any way connected with the use of said credit card to make a reservation or any disclosure or interception associated with that process.
Each reservation made by the Site User expressly authorizing the Accommodation Owner to charge the Site User’s credit card will incorporate and be bound by the Terms and Conditions and Cancellation Policies displayed by the Accommodation Owner at time of booking. Non arrival will result in the cancellation of the Site User’s entire booking and will be subject to any resulting cancellation penalties by the Accommodation Owner. If the Site User wishes to alter a reservation, this may be done either online with Tourism Victoria's reservation system or by directly contacting the Accommodation Owner. Any changes to a reservation may be subject to a reservation change fee, please refer to the Accommodation Owner's Terms and Conditions and Cancellation Policies posted at the time the reservation is made.
AGENCY
All reservations by Tourism Victoria are made as the disclosed agent for the Accommodation Owner. The terms and conditions of the reservation are between the Site User and the Accommodation Owner and the Site User expressly acknowledges that Tourism Victoria and the software provider, Digital Rez, have no responsibility or liability to the Site User in respect of such terms or conditions of any nature whatsoever.
DISCLAIMER
Tourism Victoria does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of any information contained on the Site. Tourism Victoria does not warrant that the Site is free of computer viruses or other harmful components and does not warrant that the functions and the materials contained on the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free or those errors will be detected or corrected. Neither Tourism Victoria nor the Accommodation Owner is responsible for requests or correspondence lost or delayed in the mail or via electronic mail.
The Site User should ensure that the Accommodation Owner’s Terms and Conditions of Trade and Cancellation Policies are satisfactory to the Site User. Tourism Victoria does not warrant the contents or accuracy and will not be in any way liable in respect of any loss or damage of whatever nature arising from or in any way connected with the use of this Site by the Site User.
The listing of any Accommodation Owner on this Site is not and should not be taken as a representation or recommendation by Tourism Victoria that the Accommodation Owner will be suitable to the Site User. The Site User is urged to conduct sufficient enquiries to be satisfied as to the suitability of the accommodation for the Site User. Tourism Victoria will not accept liability to the Site User in the event that the Accommodation Owner is not suitable for the Site User’s purposes.
PRIVACY
Protecting the Site User’s privacy is important to Tourism Victoria.
Tourism Victoria is the disclosed agent of the Accommodation Owner. Details relative to reservations made through Tourism Victoria are provided to the Accommodation Owner. This information may also be used from time to time to advise of Tourism Victoria products, services and specials.
Tourism Victoria uses "cookies" to ensure the Site User obtains requested information. The cookie(s) passed to the Site User are anonymous. They do not reveal the Site User's personal identity, they will not follow the Site User throughout the Site User's travels on the Web, nor can they capture private data. Rather, these cookies establish a user session and allow the Tourism Victoria server to correctly provide site users with the appropriate pages and content. Tourism Victoria is not concerned with who is using the Site, but rather how the Site is being used. Within the Book Online reservation and member parts of the Site, Tourism Victoria provides a profile feature to make it easy for the Site User to purchase travel online using Tourism Victoria's reservation service or use advanced tools on the main pages of the Site. Tourism Victoria respects the Site User's privacy and maintains the Site User's profile information on a secure server. This information can be accessed, maintained and used by the Site User, and can be accessed by authorized users of Tourism Victoria and Digital Rez for the sole purpose of providing technical assistance to the Site User. Tourism Victoria does not authorize any other use of the Site User's confidential information. Please note that the Login process used on the main Site is different than that used by the Book Online section of the Site and requires the Site User to provide a separate profile for the Book Online section of the site.

Tourism Victoria will provide only the Site User's credit card information to the Accommodation Owner.

To help protect the confidentiality of the Site User's personal information, Tourism Victoria employs security safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information. Nevertheless, security and privacy risks cannot be eliminated and we cannot guarantee that the Site User's personal information will not be disclosed or intercepted in ways not otherwise described in this policy.

GENERAL
By using this Site, the Site User represents that the Site User is of sufficient legal age to create binding legal relations for any liability the Site User may incur as a result of such usage and acknowledge and accept the financial responsibility for such usage.
No joint venture, partnership, employment or agency relationship exists between the Site User and Tourism Victoria as a result of this Agreement and the Site User's use of the Site.
The Site User warrants to Tourism Victoria that the Site User will not use this Site for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these terms and conditions.
The Site User agrees to comply with all copyright and other intellectual property laws.
The laws of Canada and of British Columbia govern this Agreement. The Site User consents and attorns to the jurisdiction of the British Columbia courts in all disputes arising out of or relating to the use of the Site.
If any part of this Agreement is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the invalid or unenforceable provision will be severed and the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect. This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the Site User and Tourism Victoria with respect to the Site and to the use of the Tourism Victoria reservation system in the Book Online section of the Site.
RESPONSIBILITY
Tourism Victoria, the Accommodation Owner(s), any of their subsidiary and/or affiliated companies, and their respective officers, directors, and employees, in arranging and/or providing accommodation or other services such as transportation, bus tours, boat tours, tickets, or merchandise through certificates or otherwise, do so on the express condition and agreement that none of them is or will be liable for any loss or injury, including death, injury, damage, accident, delay, irregularity or expense arising out of, relating to, or resulting from, strikes, war, weather, quarantines, sickness, accidents, government restrictions or regulations, or from any act or omission of third-parties, including any individual firm or corporation furnishing transportation, sightseeing or other services or goods whether or not advertised, nor for any additional costs or expenses due to disruption or change of schedules, rates, accommodations, or services or for any other cause beyond their direct control. In addition, none of them is or will be responsible for refunds, which may be due to the Site User from ground transportation operators, boat tours, or other third-party providers of service. All such claims for refunds must be made in accordance with the rules and regulations of the party from whom such refund is claimed. The Site User specifically acknowledges and agrees to the terms of this paragraph.
All costs, rates, tariffs and other charges and program features are subject to adjustment at any time without prior notice, and provision of accommodation, transportation, tickets and other services are subject to availability. Performance by Tourism Victoria, the Accommodation Owner and their respective affiliated or subsidiary companies, and their respective officers, directors and employees, are also subject to any and all applicable laws, orders, or regulations of any governmental authority exercising jurisdiction and the right is reserved to withdraw any or all offers or facilities should conditions warrant, as well as to refuse to provide accommodation to any person in accordance with applicable laws.
