REGIONAL FLASH WARNINGS OF SEVERE WEATHER

These warnings are issued to help the public make informed decisions that protect their life, welfare and property in the event of severe weather in the next few hours. They are issued when fixed weather thresholds are met.

Heavy Rain
Affecting Lincolnshire
Rain will become heavy at times through this afternoon and into this evening, with 10mm falling in less than one hour in places, and over 15mm generally. The rain will be accompanied by strong winds, with gusts of locally more than 50mph. The public are advised to take extra care and refer to the Highways Agency for further advice on traffic disruption on motorways and trunk roads, and to the Environment Agency, Floodline for Flood warnings in force.
