Yahoo! Sign-in Problems

Are you having problems signing in? Select from the list below of common problems and follow the instructions provided.

1. Are you a new Yahoo! user?

Sign-up now to gain access to Yahoo!'s personalized areas, such as My Yahoo! and Yahoo! Mail. Registration is a quick and easy process. Fill out the Sign-up form to create your Yahoo! ID and Password. Once your new account has been created, you can utilize all of Yahoo!'s personalized services by signing in with your ID and password.

2. Forgot you password?

If you have forgotten your password, or your password is not working for some reason, you can easily get a new one online. You will just need some of the account information you provided during registration or when you last updated your account (such as your birthday and ZIP/Postal Code), and your exact Yahoo! ID. Fill out the Password Request Form and a new password will be issued to you.

3. Forgot your Yahoo! ID?

You will need to have your exact Yahoo! ID in order to sign in to your account. Yahoo! Mail users, your Yahoo! ID is the first part of your email address. For example, if your Yahoo! Mail address is person@yahoo.com, your Yahoo! ID is person. Spaces or Special Characters. Yahoo! IDs usually do not contain spaces or special characters. The only special character accepted is the underscore (like person_2003). If you have forgotten your Yahoo! ID, we'll be happy to remind you. All you need are your birthday, ZIP/Postal Code, country, and the exact Alternate Email Address you gave when you registered or most recently updated the account. Fill out the Yahoo! ID Search form and if we're able to locate a match, your Yahoo! ID will be automatically sent to the alternate email address associated with your account.
