Upcoming NATO Summit: U.S. and Europe Pursue Global Agenda

Allied Heads of State and Government will meet in Riga, Latvia November 28-29, for a NATO Summit. This meeting will demonstrate a united transatlantic community, acting together to address the global challenges of the 21st century.

Travels With Secretary Rice
Estonia, Latvia, and Jordan, November 27- December 1, 2006

Secretary Rice is traveling to Europe and the Middle East from November 27 to December 1.  Secretary Rice first  accompanied President Bush on his visit to Estonia, and then continued on to Riga, Latvia to attend the NATO Summit.  The Secretary then will travel to Jordan where she will attend the Forum for the Future and participate in other meetings.  She also will participate in the President's discussions with Iraqi Prime Minister Maliki and representatives of his government.
