Great Tasting Healthy Food
Most foods that are good for you taste really bad. It's hard to reach for the kideny beans or broccoli when you really want chocolate. Now you don't have to.
We recently received a package from Dr. Soy filled with soy nuts and snack bars. The low carb snacker bars taste like a Milky Way, Almond Joy, and an Oatmeal Cookie. Dr. Soy snacks taste great and are packed with the healthy soy protein. We ate them up and are anxiously waiting for our next order. Here are some of our favorites.

Health Benefits of Soy
Soy products offer many benefits to your overall health. Consuming soy in your diet as a replacement for proteins high in saturated fat may help to control body weight and lower the risk of heart disease. In 1999, the FDA stated that 25 grams of soy protein per day in conjunction with a diet low in saturated fat and cholesterol might reduce the risk of heart disease.
Obesity has become a national epidemic in the United States. There is evidence that utilizing soy as a protein source cannot only help reduce the incidence of obesity, but soy also helps reduce LDL cholesterol (bad cholesterol).
Soy and Fiber
One cup of boiled soybeans actually provides 6 grams of dietary fiber. Increasing your intake of dietary fiber to the recommended daily amounts may reduce the risk of colon cancer.
