I think this site has gotten
stale! I'm just not updating it the way I wanted to because of too
many pressing things that seem to take precedence. So, here's the
plan.....
I have stopped listing auctions
on Ebay. I have many reasons for this but here are the top few.
The auctions just aren't closing high enough, the final prices are below
my wholesale. Great for you buyers but horrible for me since I'm
losing money on almost every auction. (final price - expenses - my
time = horrible!) Anyway, that is the first and biggest reason.
Also almost every transaction is paid for through Paypal which I love but
it has overhead charges which takes more out of the final sales price.
Finally the Ebay charges themselves which takes out even more. So,
here it is in a nutshell.....
I'm going to spend time over
the holidays updating this website and adding new bead sets, earring pairs
and some individual beads for your direct purchase. I will still
accept Paypal and try to keep the prices reasonable for you to still want
my beads.
Here is the second part to my
new way of selling beads.....
I especially love to have you
request custom beads. That is still what I want to be doing the
most. I want to make you happy and fulfill your beady requirements.
This means you can ask for beads in any color or design. I will make
them up specially for you and ship within 1 week of your order and
payment. You don't have to go hunting for that perfect bead for your
latest creation. Just ask and you shall have it show up on your
doorstep!
Finally I will be creating a
section on the website which will have pictures of your creations.
What you have made using my beads. Please send me pictures or let me
know where they are on the internet. If you have a site of your own
I'll link to that site so you can have referrals from my site.
I will still have my
"Techniques page" and maybe even add to it with a few more ways of working
with glass.
Keep watching and let me know
what you think. I am changing how I make and sell my beads and hope
that you will come along for the ride.
Thanks for visiting,
Christine
