Return Policy

     In an effort to assure customer satisfaction, CSI maintains Test Files of daily updates and historical data for QuickTrieve users. Test Files allow you to ascertain data format and compatibility with analysis packages, and to rule out other possible problems with communications, etc. involving QuickTrieve before generating normal account charges for data. Test Files may be accessed with QuickTrieve software provided upon subscription to the service. CSI offers a free demonstration copy of Unfair Advantage through our web site for similar uses. We pledge to make every reasonable effort to solve any problem you may have with our data and software upon subscription. If necessary, we will send or make available replacement copies, free of charge, to correct defects. If cancellation is required, our return policy, stated in the following three paragraphs, will apply. 

    Unfair Advantage:   CSI warrants each CD and manual to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for 90 days from the date of purchase.  CSI will replace any defective disk or CD-ROM during the warranty period.  Replacement is the exclusive remedy for any such defects, and CSI shall have no liability for any other damage.  In the event the licensee cannot satisfactorily install the UA software, he or she agrees to accept in-depth telephone assistance from a qualified CSI Customer Service Representative.  In consideration of the massive historical reserves received through UA, the licensing fee is non-refundable.  In addition, because of start-up costs to CSI, prepayment for each year of use is required to cover costs.  In the event of a refund request before the full one-year subscription term expires, monthly user fees are short-rated at double the monthly fee per full or partial month from inception of the current subscription term.

    QuickTrieve users who wish to cancel during the first month of service will be refunded their prepayment less a $15 handling fee and normal charges for any historical data received. Later refund requests for the unused portion of a prepaid portfolio package will be honored after charges have been recalculated using the rate of $100 per month of usage for a 100-contract custom portfolio or any fixed portfolio, or $33 per month for a mini custom portfolio, and historical data charges have been applied. The remaining balance, if any, will be refunded.
