This is Apple Computer Inc.'s Export Compliance Product/Country Matrix. It is a list of commodities, technology, and software with each respective Export Control Classification Number (ECCN), Adjusted Peak Performance (APP) in Weighted Teraflops (WT), and applicable license exception as per the United States Department of Commerce Export Administration Regulations.
All information on this Product/Country Matrix is strictly a recommendation to the user, and should be used in conjunction with the Export Administration Regulations when classifying Apple Computer Inc.'s commodities, technology and software for export purposes.

DEFINITION OF TERMS AND ACRONYMS
ECCN= Export Control Classification Number.
APP= Adjusted Peak Performance (a measurement of a computer's processing speed in WTs, Weigthed TeraFlops. Replaced CTP/MTOPS).
CCATS= Commodity Classification Automated Tracking System.
License Exceptions: An export license IS NOT required when product is classified under one of the following License Exceptions: EAR99= Assign designation NLR (No License Required).
PROHIBITED DESTINATIONS
The U.S. holds complete embargoes against
Cuba, Iran, Sudan, and Syria
The exportation, reexportation, sale or supply, directly or indirectly, from the United States, or by a U.S. person wherever located, of any Apple goods, software, technology (including technical data), or services to any of these countries is strictly prohibited without prior authorization by the U.S. Government.
North Korea is not totally embargoed but highly sanctioned and restricted, refer to it's column on the matrix above for specific licensing requirements.
ENHANCED PROLIFERATION CONTROL INITIATIVE (EPCI)
It's prohibited to allow certain countries to use Apple products in the design, development, production or use of nuclear, missiles, and chemical and biological weapons and technology without proper authorization from the U.S. Government. This applies to all countries, EXCEPT Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, Italy (includes San Marino and Holy See), Japan, Luxembourg, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, and United Kingdom.

Apple products may not be exported or re-exported to anyone on the U.S. Treasury Department's list of Specially Designated Nationals or the U.S. Department of Commerce Denied Person's List or Entity List.
